SOOOOO disappointed . . . would not recommend
This was not a good experience, we won't go back. Ridiculously long line to check in on a Friday night with minimal staff getting people through, wouldn't add help. Staff throughout the hotel avoided eye contact and were reluctant to help with even simple questions. Cheapest sheets and toilet paper of any hotel I've ever stayed at. Absolutely no ventilation in the indoor water park and extremely chlorinated water made it difficult to breath after a minimal amount of time. Pools outside had very salty water making it feel and taste like we were swimming in the Atlantic Ocean. At lunch, we had to beg someone to order drinks and food. Elevators are not even close to handling the crowds. We stayed out of our room literally all day so they could clean. At 4:30pm, we finally called downstairs to ask what was going on and were told that we had to "request" housekeeping. ??? The tremendous obesity, lack of adequate swimsuit coverage, inappropriate behavior and tattoos, heavy drinking, & lack of any degree of class by the guests made for an uncomfortable family trip and flat out embarrassing based on the questions my kids asked. Our last meal was at the "nice" restaurant on site. A dodgy family ordered a lavish meal and drinks and then walked out without paying. The confrontation in the hallway afterwards between the family of 5 and the waiter was actually pretty scary. As we left, a dad was chugging a Coors Light at 9:30 on a Sunday morning. Yeah . . . we're done here.
