I really appreciated how well-arranged and clean my room was every evening when I returned from my daily activities. A big thank you to the person who cleaned my room daily—it made a difference in my stay. However, I was disappointed with the overall customer service. I was unable to use the Chromecast on my TV despite being connected to the same Wi-Fi. Even after upgrading my room and gaining access to the Wi-Fi, the connection remained very slow and would occasionally switch to using my phone’s data instead.

I do recommend

The staff are are amazing at what they do! Everyone from the bartenders to our concierge Max are so very professional. The hotel location is great, there is so much to do within a few steps or a short uber ride from the hotel.

The bathroom clogged twice and the second time it flooded the whole room while nobody answered the phone at reception. There were no USB connections anywhere and only two outlets on the wall. The restaurant had no hostess and waited in vain to eventually go eat elsewhete

Only one of the elevators was working the entire long weekend. There was a debutante ball and the hotel was packed to the gills. People were walking down or so flights, since the only elevator would be packed every single time. Also the hotel is old and a bit run down. It was nice to begin with, but really needs updating. Also, waited 47 minutes to get mu car from the valet. Pretty bad.

Very nice!

Our stay at the Fairmont was unplanned. We came to town for a convention and booked two nights elsewhere. We then decided to stay another night and had to find a different hotel. The Fairmont was available and it was a lovely, unexpected surprise! It’s not a new hotel, but has been kept in very good condition. I love the feel of the era gone by that it maintains. I had several interactions with different members of the staff, and they were all extremely friendly and helpful. We agreed that if we come back to Dallas, we would stay there again.

I was really disappointed with my stay at the Fairmont Dallas. From the moment I arrived, it was clear that service was not a priority—no one offered to help with my bags, and the lobby felt completely deserted. The people at the front desk were borderline rude, acting like they couldn't be bothered to assist guests. Everything about this place felt neglected, and I definitely won’t be staying here again.
