While checking in the guy informs me it will be 5% extra to use a credit card & shows me in a calculator how much in local (Sols) it will be...$404. Then after I swipe the card, turns out he added an extra $20; total $424
No hot water the 1st night.
Great location. Staff were very helpful in scheduling taxis to and from airport. Everything was as expected. The only issue was that there was a smell of sewage in both our rooms.
Nice clean, comfy hostel to stay in. Lacks any sort of social scene or activities however- not a place to meet people if you are a solo traveler. But a very quiet hostel to stay and get some rest if that’s what you’re looking for. No breakfast/food offered but there’s a small communal kitchen. Up on a bit of a steep hill with lots of steps (cars have a hard time dropping people off here too because it’s one way). Nevertheless, it’s a quick walk to the old center.
