Lovely rooms behind pub- recently renovated and clean and well furnished. Continentsl breakfast delivered to room. Great value.

A three nights stay.

It was fine for a short stay. The room was clean and comfortable but no room for a chair and TV was too big for the room. There was not much room between foot of bed and TV, especially at night when getting up for bathroom. Also no dining for breakfast, so a bag of biscuits and pot porridge and drinks constituted "breakfast included" which was not quite what one was expecting.

Poor parking, step steps to rooms, only a 4ft bed, no cooked breakfast, limited choice continental breakfast. Booked for two nights only stayed one and have asked Expedia for refund for other night. Very upset/unhappy.

Disappointing night away

We are very disappointed that the webpage said various breakfasts and continental breakfast, only to find that they only did continental breakfast and it was served in your room, which did not have any where to sit and eat. We told them the night before that we didn’t want continental breakfast, but they still delivered it outside of our door, which we did not eat, but were still charged for it. There were no bottles of water in the room, which in every accommodation we have stayed at before has always been supplied. The bed in the room was very small and there was no room at the end of it. On the brighter side, the bar area was good and vibrant and the pricing was good.

The room was small but very comfortable. No room for a chair, but for a one night stay, not a problem. Very recently done and very tidy, the bathroom was very modern

Not worth the money.

Room was brand new and spotless, however they missed the mark on so many things. Firstly although the room was great the price of £80 was ridiculous, there’s no food available and breakfast was continental style which arrived outside the door in a bag. It’s a very basic bed and breakfast and should be priced accordingly of at the most £40. There was no shower gel, soap or shampoo available and even the hand pump soap dispenser at the sink was empty. The room itself was freezing, the heating looks to be controlled from the main boiler in the pub and they clearly didn’t have the heating on. There is no provisions to independently heat the room.
