Beautiful brand new chalet eco-cottages, which were luxuriously appointed very unexpectedly. Lovely fire next to our bed, full privacy, warm toasty floors to walk on, luxurious deep bath with beautiful herbs, soft, fluffy towels. Loved every minute of our stay.

I think your description is falsely advertised Picture shows a cabin Suits 4 people shared amenities Did not realise that meant share with lots of other cabins And we were not the only people with this option

Very basic but room was clean and bed comfortable. A good example of you get what you pay for when there is such a captive audience and nowhere else to go.

Very convenient to Cradle Mountain visitor centre. Although the Discovery Park could feel like a maze, this made for a feeling of privacy and security, being amongst the scented gums. We had a standard cabin, great bathroom/shower, heating and utilities.

For someone who still wants a bit of comfort while enjoying the call of nature, the Cradle Mountain Discovery Park cabins are great. The kitchen is well provided for, the shower is hot, & the couch is great to kick back in, put your feet up, & relax after a long day. There’s lots to do in the immediate area, including a climb up Black Bluffs lookout for a spectacular view of the mountain, and a short(ish) drive to fascinating towns like Waratah. Don’t miss the Devils at Cradle either!

Unfortunately there was mould in the base of the shower and the overall condition of the cabin seemed dated…. The camp kitchen facilities were excellent and overall a pleasant 2 day stay.

The property is huge with several cabins. It was quite organized and clean in general. I can understand the water in the tap in general is not drink quality. But not having even one water filter, which of course the facility can surely afford but a big shock. They could have at least bothered to have a filter water tap for drinking water and let people know before hand so people could arrange drinking water before travelling, it would have been great.

Substandard and dirty

Basic accommodation with great facilities.

Basic stay in a cabin. Wafer thin walls meant you could easily hear adjoining occupants. Kitchen area was a highlight of our trip. We met some interesting people and shared some great times. Shared toilets and showers were clean and spacious. Recommended as a cheaper option to the exxy hotels and lodges in the area.

The beds were clean however there were so many cobwebs in the bedrooms (behind the curtains) it was hard to sleep. The IXL cover fell from the IXL and the IXL itself was coming away from the ceiling. Outside buildings the same; cannot see timber under all the cobwebs. Definitely not worth the price. Could not wait to move on.

Property had everything we needed for a short stay. In the morning I went to reception and my tyre was soft. Ben, in maintenance I assume, noticed it and filled it with air for me. All the staff were do helpful. Thank you.

Pleasant bush surroundings. Basic cabin just that, but has all that is needed. Easy drive to shuttle bus for exploring Cradle Mountain. Only downfall is that it is expensive for what it is.
