Not good, very smelly and not in great shape

This hotel was just okay. And i feel like that is a generous statement. Room was pretty clean but bathroom had mold in it. Bathroom had a very low drop style ceiling. I am 5'6" and my head was pretty close to the ceiling. If someone taller used that bathroom they would've hit their head. The hallway stank badly even with the plug in air freshener right outside our door. Our room smelled too but wasnt as bad as the hall. We sprayed perfume and it covered the smell mostly. Our room walls and windows must be very thin because we could hear every conversation of those in the room beside us and the traffic ohtaide our 5th floor window was very loud at times. Outlet in the bathroom did not work at all. Outlets in the room walls had very little power and took forever to charge our phones and would not heat our hair straightener. Staff were friendly when we checked in and out. Parking was in garage under hotel and it smelled bad and had a lot of litter. Parking to the lower level was taped off and unusable but there seemed to be enough parking for those staying. Garage exited to a parking lot behind the building and back onto the street but there were a lot of people loitering out there at times that made my daughter and i uncomfortable. I would not recommend this hotel and i would not stay at it again. We did not try their free breakfast. Pool was closed due to the season but looked bad enough that i would not have used it if it were open. Carpet in our room had burn marks in it.

Overall it wasn’t bad but there is definitely room for improvements. The room we stayed in, the outlet was hanging out of the wall, the shower curtain needed replaced and the fixtures looked old and dated. It was convenient to get to GABP and to the cathedral. Easy access to the interstate too.

There is a light attached to a motion detector in each room. You can turn this light off but you cannot turn off the motion detector. Therefore, if you toss and turn at night you will set it off and the light will come on. Repeatedly, all night long. There is nothing you can do about this. After the first night I asked the front desk if there was anything I could do to switch it off and they said no. After the second night, I asked them (same staff on duty) if they had any duct tape or electrical tape to cover up the motion sensor, and they not only had some ready, they mentioned that a lot of people do this, which is to say, this is a known problem they seem uninterested in fixing. Also the whole place reeks of old cigarette smoke.

Nice stay in Cincinnati

Nice motel for a short stay in Cincinnati. Room spacious, clean and in good condition. Breakfast was nice, with self-service on waffles and pancakes. Staff friendly.

Dark and dingy. Not well lighted. we drove up and wondered if the place was even open! Parking lot was dirty and in bad shape. Walls in the hallways were beat up

Its a long, hot walk to downtown. However, there is a bus route that stops directly in front of the hotel. There are not many food options in that area. Also, the hotel is kinda old and gross. They have beds and the doors lock, but its not very nice. Have low expectations.

Property is very well located, but the area around is full of homeless or drug users /alcoholic people. The hallways smell to cigarette smoke including the lobbying area. Premises looks like in need of update or maintenence! Rooms are ok but window glasses and some furniture are not clean at all.
