The room, overall ambience, and garden terrace were all lovely and charming. Our room was clean, spacious, and comfortable. We also got a free shuttle from hotel to the airport when we departed. The only downside: our flight was in the late afternoon and after we checked out we had about 3 hours to bridge before leaving to the airport. we were not allowed to use the pool or facilities after checkout. Although we explained the situation and even offered to pay extra just for day use of the pool and changing room, they were very rigid. I found this policy very inconvenient and arbitrary, especially since nobody was even using the pool and it wouldn’t have inconvenienced either the staff or the other guests. In my experience all other hotels / resorts in the country past have always allowed me to use facilities and pools after checkout to accommodate a later afternoon or evening flight. They should change this policy. Otherwise, a lovely stay.
