I stayed here for business. It is close to John Wayne airport and a short drive to Newport Beach. While the immediate area is not the best, you have access to many desirable areas. The restaurant is reasonable and the food is great. I had the burger and the short rib tacos. I did arrive around 1pm and the staff seemed a little bothered that I was trying to check in. He told me "people just checked out". I had to ask him if it was okay to hang out and I had to ask about access to the restaurant. I did not exactly feel welcome in that moment. But that was a minor set back. I then spent the next two hours eating and hanging out by the pool. Unfortunately no one was able to alert me when my room was ready and when I came back around 3 there was a huge line of people checking in ahead of me.

This place is clean. Staff is friendly. Beds are comfortable to me. I like it a bit firm. They have a restaurant on site but I wasn't able to try it this time. I have stayed here before and I enjoy the in court jacuzzi but it wasn't available due to construction.

The place was run down, under contraction, and the service was not good. Beds were fine, but everything else was out dated and felt old. Spend the extra money and stay somewhere nicer.
