We stopped here while traveling through the area. The front desk host was very nice. She let us know the place had just re-opened under new management less than a week earlier. The room was clean and comfortable, although a little noisy due to thin walls. We could hear all of our neighbors running water like it was in our own room. There was a very minimal breakfast, although no place to sit down, so we had to go back to our room to eat. It wasn't a bad stay but given the number of other budget hotels in Cortez, they'll need to up their game a little to keep brining guests in.

room was on the small side,nowhere to hang clothes but only stayed for 1 night so not a big problem,room was clean and modern,was placed round the back which looked out onto a bit of a rough area but overall,an ok stay

I'm a senior citizen traveling alone, used to tent camping and roughing it, so when I'm by myself I'm not picky about hotel rooms and initially look for the best prices, of which this facility was one. I couldn't believe the nice condition and cleanliness of my room !!! It was truly miles ahead of the other locations I had stayed for the past few nights. A young man named Ed checked me in - he was helpful, friendly and did a great job. The room was basic and small, but had new bathroom fixtures and as I said, was very clean. The front desk and breakfast area was very nice and clean as well. If I'm through this area again, I will definitely be staying here. It looks like the management truly cares about their customers and the property.

I stay here all the time. But this morning, I didn't really had breakfast. The oatmeal was watery, no boiled eggs, not much pastry, and not much yogurt to choose from. I was disappointed. I think I will start staying somewhere else next time.

The front desk lady I think her name was Liddy was very nice. The room was very clean the breakfast was ok but I wish they had some kind of eggs what they had was not diabetic friendly. But our stay was nice. Will come back
