Great house in good location

The house was clean and the location was great. We were close to the beach, shopping & restaurants. Gayle was very responsive to any questions we had. Would definitely recommend.

Definitely coming back!

We stayed for a few days leading into Memorial Day in 2024. The house is fantastic! The neighborhood pool is great. Gayle was very accommodating and responsive. The house comes stocked with more than what I expected! The only complaint I see from others is that there isn’t direct beach access. I could care less. We’ve stayed in houses and condo buildings with immediate beach access and we will be coming back to this house over those. This is the Texas coast, which means everyone drives to the beach, on the beach, etc. This property is about a mile from one of the main access roads, so it’s super convenient. Thank you again for a wonderful getaway!

Great House

There was plenty of room for fun. The balconies are great and the are for grilling is a cool place to hang out. The beach access is close by and close to either Padre or Port A for restaurants and stores.

Great stay

Very nice and well equipped house with a great host. Highly recommend. Do note that there is not beach access in the neighborhood, you must drive to the public beach access, but it was convenient and easy—particularly since you can drive on the beach.

Great space for a large family

Wonderful place. We do wish that there had been a way to walk to the beach, but it is really only accessible by driving a mile down the road and turning on to beach access road 2. Still, was a great set up and very comfortable.

Overall the property was clean and easy access from the road. This was perfect for our families. Very good layout of the rooms. The only problem was that we were not able to use the deck due to mosquitoes. I am not sure if it was this time of the year that mosquitoes were everywhere or it was due to hurricane that came a week before our stay. Other than mosquitoes issue we had a great time and the ocean view was excellent.

Beach house without a beach

The house was gorgeous, very well appointed and all you would need. We were disappointed that there was no way to access the beach due to the subdivision between the house and the beach that had changed, and we were “fenced out” and not able to get around. You had to drive down the main road in either direction, park and STILL walk and tote all of your gear. No morning walks on the beach, etc. Had this been revealed in the listing we would have chosen another place. It might work for others that don’t care about access to the beach.

Amazing beach house

The Bella Vista is an amazing property. Perfect for our family trip. Everything was perfect except the listing said there was an elevator and there was not. My senior parents came for the day and the elevator was one of the reasons they came, climbing the 2 flights of stairs was difficult for them. Other than that it was perfect. Thank you for sharing your beach house with us!

BEACH HOUSE!

We had a group of 4 adults and 6 kids ranging in age from 8-17. The house was great balcony’s on every level, easy parking, and carport access in case of bad weather. My family and I will return again and again. thank you Ms. Gale!!!

Last summer getaway before school!

Our family had a great time at the Blue Haven, it’s a beautiful home and we enjoyed the wonderful decks, community pool, the sitting area by the bar b a pit and of course the beach! Kitchen is stocked with all the items needed to cook meals and we loved the quiet community!

Yearly Port A visit success

We visit Port A every summer for a week long family vacation. This home was true to its description . We choose it because it was in between Port A and our favorite fishing spots in Mustang Island. The home was clean and everything was in working order. Did I mention it is a beautiful house?! My daughters loved sitting in the hammock in the mornings and evenings. It is a quiet neighborhood and pretty much had the pool to ourselves the whole time. Beach access is 1 mile away.

Absolutely wonderful!

Our family stayed the weekend at the Blue Haven and absolutely loved it. The house was very homey and clean. It was also well-appointed and we had fun playing horse shoes and corn hole in the evening. The beach wasn't far and we also checked out Sand Fest and Padre Island National Seashore. Love it! We had no issues and loved our weekend. This was the best place to spend a beach vacation while home from Afghanistan! We will stay here again! Thank you so much!
