Expedia should not promote this unsafe hotel! 1. Check in, when we arrived no one was in office had to call and wait for front desk employee to come which took 5 minutes, it was awkward and the reception area was in array and dirty, it was about midnight when we arrived into town 2. We get to room, none of the light switches worked in the room had to turn on bathroom light, the room had not been cleaned there was still mop bucket and cleaning supplies in room. Sand clumps everywhere on floor, terrible smell of mildew, bathtub had a half used bar of soap 3. We returned back to front office to request another room, employee was not in office, this time we waited 15 minutes for someone to help us. In the meantime another couple walked in under the influence and I did not feel secure , they proced to call number at desk to request and employee to come to desk and then another 3rd person waiting in lobby, no employees to help 4. We make it to 2nd room by 1:30 am after all is said and done. Room smelt very strong of mold and mildew i had to spray air freshener within 2 minutes of my arrival in room because it smelled so bad, surfaces where sticky, bedding had stains, did not smell clean, and we itched all night in the bed , in moring we discovered black stuff growing on ceiling and walls, fridge was broken and our food we put In there went and spoiled. Dead bugs in all light fixtures, along with some other crawling alive ones, towels where tissue paper thin and stained, I felt

Don’t stay here… I warned you …

Worse hotel ever. Dirty room, dirty floor, dirty shower, dirty moldy towels. They brought me more dirty towels when I complained. Big roaches just chilling on the walls, my door handle came off of room 317 on the third floor. I had to get out the window. I really don’t understand why they are charging a $50 deposit. Everything is already dirty and broken , what are they worried you gonna do? Fix something? The only good thing was the dude downstairs who welcomes you with grilled hotdogs , other than that , don’t stay here …

Rooms were clean, but multiple outlets didn’t work. Key card didn’t work every time we left the room had to go to lobby multiple times to get it fixed. AC doesn’t really blow the coldest and being down south in corpus you need the ac.

Our stay was ok we paid $12.00 more for a room that has a microwave and fridge. Tv didn’t work well had to be constantly moving the wire in the back for it to work, toilet was dirty, room card didn’t work had to go to office to get a new one, ice machines were broken, some furniture was dusty.

It’s 12:15 Saturday morning and the gave us a room with some kind of pest that caused us to itch I don’t think it was bedbugs but dang they itched, we ask for another room and they charged us a extra charge that I don’t think it was right. This hotel caters to some weird and sleazy people in my opinion. I work for many hotel owners like the pastels and the rays family and I’ve never been in a hotel as dirty and sleazy as this one. Even the hotels on north beach are way cleaner and more sanitized than this one. And also the tub was dirty and we found roaches in the bathroom. I know now why La Quinta took their name off this hotel because this hotel is just awful. My daughter and her husband were in room 311 and have two children and they found bedbugs in their mattress. Now I believe that’s what we had in our room so now we are finding another hotel because they refuse to move us without us paying an extra charge lol. I just hope anyone reading this takes all the negative post to heart because it’s actually the truth what people post on here good nightmares lol. And the manager always respond that they take complaints seriously and will look into it but all they do is laugh at the complaints. but like I said I do work for many hotels in San Antonio and many hotel owners from India take pride in their hotels, but then you have owners like these that actually don’t care at all about their hotels and that’s why hotel chains remove their names from their properties this use to be

The breakfast is a joke . The manager's lied right to my face eggs and bacon . There was bread and water . The front lobby wah sand in front wwhen i walked in . They said we charge for sand . 250$ then i ask what if there's sand in the room already he said there no sand i found sand in every corner of my rooms i booked 2 . Room had roaches and the towels were dirty. They also charged 59$ deposits up front . I was real 💯 percent disappointed in the room and services dont go

Hotel below the lowest of standards. AC not properly functioning. Technician took out and replaced-same result. Cool air NOT COLD AIR. Pillows looked like someone slept on them before I did. No phone or refrigerator provided. Technician said only rooms that face the street have refrigerators. Sink clogged very slow drain. Shower head heavy w calcium sprays in different directions. You can tell maintenance isn’t at the top of their list. Gap at bottom of door allow any size critter coulg come in. While trying to get things resolved w management you could hear others complain about sinks and toilets not working. What a way to spend a birthday here. If tidiness is not a problem then please stay. But if it’s not turn the cheek and look elsewhere because you’re sure to be disappointed. I’D be more than happy to take a lie detector test. STAW AWAY FROM THIS PLACE.

This was probably the worst stay I have ever had. Dirty beds, i had to unclog the sink. The towels were stained and old. No service at the counter the last day. Horrible.
