Estes Oasis

Summary:

Estes Oasis is a true family vacation home with a view! Located less than 200 yards from Estes Flats in beautiful City by the Sea, halfway between Rockport and Aransas Pass. Max guest count is 10. Estes Flats is known for incredible fishing and duck hunting. Even on hot Texas days you can relax on the deck or dock with a nice coastal breeze. The wide canals lead to a beautiful view of the bay. Do not miss the sunrise!



The Space:

Great care was taken in rebuilding after Hurricane Harvey and many meaningful touches were added. The house is very comfortable with plenty of space for 10 with 4 bedrooms all with en suites.

Three of the bedrooms have a King size bed, while the 4th has a Full over Full bunk bed. The kitchen is stocked with all you will need to whip up a family breakfast, the catch of the day, or a pitcher of margaritas. There is also a large dining table for all to gather around. Estes Oasis is equipped with WiFi and Smart TVs with active HULU Live TV account, a foosball table, washers & corn hole games. There is a gas grill, outdoor patio furniture, and a picnic table.

There is an 85' dock on the canal with dock lights, underwater lights and a fish cleaning station. Parking is available for up to 4 vehicles. There is also room to dock a boat, although the boat lift is not available for use.



Guest Access:

Guests will have access to the entire house, including all four bedrooms with en suite bathrooms, the fully equipped kitchen, and the spacious living and dining areas. Outside, enjoy the deck, dock, and fish cleaning station. Relax on the patio furniture, utilize the gas grill, and enjoy games like foosball and cornhole. Parking is available for up to 4 vehicles, and you're welcome to use the 85' dock on the canal.

Getting around Estes Oasis is easy! While City by the Sea is best explored by car, we offer ample free parking for up to 4 vehicles. For those flying in, the closest airport is Aransas County Airport (RKP), approximately a 20-minute drive. Major transit hubs are not directly accessible, so a personal vehicle or ride-sharing service is recommended for exploring the surrounding areas of Rockport and Aransas Pass. Enjoy the convenience of driving to local attractions, restaurants, and the beautiful Texas coast.

Amazing stay and so thankful we got to bring our beloved dog along too! Very clean, great accommodations and layout, super outside area and balcony. Very nice patio furniture spread out so we didn’t even need the chairs we brought and their chairs/table and picnic table were great quality and really nice. Great amenities and little kits in each room were a nice surprise and great added touch. Friendly neighbors and peaceful and quiet outside. No fish keepers, caught a couple crabs but we fed a lot of fish. Loved our mini vacay. Would love to stay again.

First I was excited for back lighting as I have bad vision and wanted to take grandma so she can see better going on stairs at night. Dock lighting didn’t work. So there was 2 of us not able to enjoy the outside in evening as we were really excited for. The electric in the back was so bad it had shocked my children and myself multiple times. For this price we paid for 2 nights was definitely not worth that price 2 of us messaged the management and all we got was I’m sorry we’ll contact owner and nothing was ever done. For that price we shouldn’t have had been let down so much I’d avoid it until things are fixed terrible experience from what I was looking for

Great Vacation Home

My family stayed for a mini vacation and we had a blast! We love that each room has it's own bathroom. It was peaceful, relaxing, and enjoyable to wake up and see the water everyday. The stairs are a doozy, but other than that, it was a wonderful experience.

Roaches

the kitchen was infested with roaches. The roaches also started to appear in the bedrooms and bathrooms. The property got sprayed 2 days later, but that still did nothing for the roaches. This was a very stressful stay, especially since we were traveling with young children. We had to constantly wash every dish we used because the cupboards were full of roach poop. NOTHING could be left out because roaches would walk all over it! We had to throw away at least 80% of the groceries we bought the 1st night because we weren't aware of the roaches until next day in the morning when we saw them crawling on the walls. We were not given any kind of refund or even a partial refund. I worried that we could have brought the roaches home with us since we started to see them in the restrooms and bedrooms.

Very nice small community on the canal. Everything was smooth and overall a great trip. The stairs inside the home are extremely steep so we often used the exterior stairs in the front and back of the home which was fine.

The property was at a good location and in good condition. Interior cleaning can improve; hair balls and heavy dust was under all bedroom and living room furniture. Ocean view window in the living room; from floor to half way up the glass was covered with hand prints and smears.

Long relaxing weekend getaway

Propery was very close to the bay, right on the canal. Fresh cool breezes. View was very nice. Beds were very comfortable. We had one small issue with a fan / light fixture in one of the bedrooms and even on a Saturday it was fixed within an hour! To me its easy when every thing goes perfectly. You really fond out when theres an issue. And this was very minor but could have led to an uncomfortable night of sleep. The communication was absolutely fantastic.

Lovely canal

Very convenient and plenty of room to moor our boat overnight. Access to the bay was excellent. Houses in the canal had lovely lighting creating a very relaxing atmosphere at night. House had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. I do have to say however that the interior stairs were a little too steep for our aging knees.

Loved the location, the fenced yard and canal access. Plenty of private spaces for children to play games. Each bedroom having its own bathroom a real plus for us. One of my favorites so far in City by the Sea.

Lovely Canal View

This home and the locale are real winners. We spent most of our time on the awesome back deck, overlooking the canal and playing cornhole. The inside of the home was warm, comfortable, and functional. The property manager was excellent, prompt, and so very kind. Our family made lots of great memories in this lovely canal home.

Didn't want to leave.

3 Days and 4 Nights was NOT enough time. There was a few hiccups but they responded and fixed the issue immediately and my husband fixed the downstairs toilet nothing to bother them about. There was plenty of space for 2 families with friends visiting and us not feeling on top of each other. The kitchen had everything I needed for our stay which made cooking a breeze. The location was perfect HEB and Walmart are a short distance away as well as our new favorite Tackle Town. We've never stayed at one place where we did not want to leave, and this place was THE place. The water was Crystal clear at Rockport beach, and didn't leave a dirty or sticky feeling afterwards. Next best thing to Florida SERIOUSLY. We spotted at least 4 Sheep heads at the jetty's. You can watch the boat ramp live on tv to give you an idea before you head out. The bait shop takes cash only, and if you don't have a boat you can catch speckled trout straight off the dock. I would definitely recommend this place and would most definitely stay here again. The only thing I would change is applying more sunblock. If you stay here check out Our Family Kitchen amazing coffee and the BEST homemade biscuits.
