Should have been better.

Neighborhood was fine, 10 minute walk to beach. Assuming house hadnt been rented in a while. All ceilings, windows, etc were covered in large webs. Furniture was stained enough that we used sheets on the couch to sit on. Carpet had a few cigarette burns and stains. Coffee maker had an incredible amount of mold in it, so it hadnt been cleaned in a while. Pool bottom hadnt been cleaned. Bathroom on bottom floor had what appeared to be black mold. Went and notified the property manager and sent photos via email to them. No further response, which was unfortunate. Had to call the 877 number to ask about check out instructions. Apparently they were supposed to be in a welcome pack that was never provided. Owner should strongly consider new furniture/carpet. And realty company should ensure their cleaning folks are actually doing what they should do.

Very buggy

Within the first couple of nights my wife had bug bites all over her legs. My wife and I stayed in the 3rd floor bedroom. Everyone who stayed on the 2nd floor rooms got "HEAD LICE". We cant even begin to describe the level of disappointment with our stay. The pool leaked and we had to have the outside hose filling it constantly. AS of yet we have not determined if my wifes bites are from fleas or bed bugs. but our 2nd floor quests are confirmed to have gotton LICE..

Great amenities and location

We love the Corolla area. Was located close to Timbuktu shopping area, many restaurants, short walk to the beach. Pool and hot tub were great to have at our disposal. Size of the house was perfect for 8 to stay comfortably and have plenty of room. (3 adults + 5 teens). House was clean but could have used a deeper cleaning. Spot stains on carpet needed a good shampoo. But overall, great place to stay and reasonably priced with all the amenities available and the location we liked. Plus we got to bring the dogs which was a bonus!
