Villa Varvara is a beautiul, spacious holiday home with private swimming pool , ideally located just 700m above from the unspoilt beach of Kerasia and close to the pretty upmarket fishing village of Saint Stefanos. It offers to its guests sensational views over the Ionian Sea and is a true heaven of peace and privacy in one of the most sought after areas of Corfu. Villa Varvara offers to its guests a generously sized private swimming pool, extensive private grounds with trees, shrubs and flowers as well as carefully finished interiors, and can sleep up to 12 guests in 6 bedrooms (+ 1 extra bed if required) in a elegant yet cheerful environment.Inside, the property has been cleverly divided into 4 self-contained units (split over two floors) rented together as a whole indipendent villa to benefit from the exclusive use of the pool and the common areas, yet giving privacy to all the guests when required and at night. There are 2 units with 2 bedrooms each (one double and one twin) and further 2 units with one twin bedroom each (that can be turned into doubles) all having direct access to the outside and to the attractive sea-facing balconies. All the bedrooms are air-conditioned and have a flat-screen satellite TV (free channels). An extra folding bed can be provided free of charge for an extra guest (mainly suitable for a child up to 12 years old). Baby cot is also available free of charge (on request).Each unit has its own bathroom with shower (4 in total), fully equipped kitchen as well as living area where the guests can enjoy privacy or relaxing time together. Additionally a poolside area furnished with a large table, chairs and barbecue is available for all the guests to spend time together admiring the views or enjoying al-fresco dining.Outside, Villa Varvara is surrounded by extensive private grounds beautifully mantained and planted with local trees, shrubs and flowers. The large private pool, providing total privacy with no neighbouring properties overlooking, offers breathtaking views to the turquoise Ionian Sea and is equipped with sunbeds and parasols for relaxing days unders the Greek sun. The pool measures 9m x 5m.IMPORTANT: the property is being rented as a whole villa, so our guests will have the exclusive use of the whole house, grounds and swimming pool, ensuring privacy and relaxation.NOTES: for the convenience of our guests, the price quoted includes: Air-conditioning, wi-fi internet, maid service twice a week, change of hand/bath towels twice a week and change of bed linen once a week.GREEK STAY TAX (climate resilience tax): euro 2 per villa per night not included in the rental rate and payable locally.

Lovely Villa in Beautiful Location

The villa worked very well for our party of 11 family members. We felt the separate accommodation worked well but did not interfere with our eating, chatting and socialising together. The shared eating area by the pool was amazing - really well designed and the barbecue area was great. the 2 larger apartments had obviously been refurbished but the smaller apartments were fine. A bit of hinge oiling and maintenance would have made them even better. All in all a great holiday. Nice beach with bar etc quite an easy walk and Agios Stefanos also walkable but a bit more effort returning up the steep hill road.. Car needed for other destinations but boat trips and taxis not too far away.

A beautiful setting

A wonderful location with stunning views. The pool area was outstanding. It was the favourite area for my grandchildren. There were a few minor repairs needed such as a shower head that didn't hook on the wall and leaked in one of the apartments. However, it was generally well equipped We had some trouble with the air conditioning in two of the rooms, which required a number of communications with Maria. Her responses were very prompt and resulted in people coming the same day to fix the problem. We only had one car between the ten of us but this did not present a problem because we were happy to walk to local beaches and used the very efficient taxi boats to take us further afield.

Lovely villa with pool in beautiful surroundings

Villa Varvara provided a wonderful location for a family holiday. Perched on the side of a hill, overlooking the channel between Corfu and Albania, the views were mesmerising. The pool was always clean and the facilities were ideal. Each apartment allowed privacy with adequate facilities, although some of these could benefit from upgrade. A regular cleaning service provided an change of towels and bedding, although this could have been a little more frequent and regular. The villa was very well placed to explore local villages and enjoy excellent local tavernas. Boat rental was easy allowing us to explore the local pebbly beaches. The local roads are ok but access to the villa is off a steep road, typical of the area. All in all Varvara is a beautiful location for a family holiday, lived up to the photos and descriptions and was great value for money.

Die Villa ist zwar in die Jahre gekommen und bedarf sicherlich die eine oder andere Renovierung was die Bäder und Einrichtung betrifft. Auch wären mal neue Pool Möbel und Stuhlauflagen sinnvoll. Aber die Lage selbst auf Korfu mit der Aussicht und der wunderbaren Kerasia Beach Bucht macht vieles wieder gut.
