The hotel is overall safe and nice. The biggest problem is the restroom doesn’t have a fan, so it smells a little bit.

Mostly a great hotel for visiting Copenhagen

Staff were friendly and helpful, breakfast was very good, location nice and central (we walked almost everywhere), bed was comfortable. My only issues were the bathroom sink was only 30cm (12”) diameter with the faucet taking up the back half (try washing your face in that!), and the photographs of the room made it look significantly larger than it actually is.

I was upgraded to a balcony because I have silver status on Expedia. Even if the hotel recognizes Expedia status I never expect anything so I was pleasantly surprised. The room was spacious and cleaned well. Staff were so friendly and made my check in process smooth despite arriving very early in the morning. I am a solo female traveler and the location seemed very safe and I never felt at risk at any point my 4 day trip. The hotel is right across a concert venue but it was still very quiet for most of the night. Location is also ideal it’s very easy to walk to a ton of places or take public transport to even more. This really felt like a good home base for my short trip. I would stay here again multiple times over

Very disruptive and unpleasant experience!

Booked deluxe room at Wide Hotel. On arrival were checked into a standard room that smelled of dampness and mould. moved to another standard room. after further complaint moved to so called "superior" room. could not sleep due to VERY loud rave music venue opposite our room. after further complaint moved to a smaller room for last two nights of 5 night booking. shower water was never hot on last two days, at best lukewarm. overall experience was very unpleasant and with constant moves we did'nt have access to rooms between checkout time (11am) and check in time (3pm) on several days. All of which impacted our daily itineraries, resulting in a very annoying last 5 days of 3 weeks in Scandinavia. From the outset, hotel staff were quick to blame Hotels.com for not providing accurate information on our our room category.
