Hotel Kong Arthur was a great place to stay in Copenhagen located centrally right by the water and only an 8 min walk to the train station. The hotel has a cool vibe in an old place totally redone with social hour everyday (free drink) and great outdoor spaces to hang out. Our only downside was no AC as we were there on an unusually hot weekend. The staff is great and very helpful as well.

It’s a charming medium size hotel situated in a prime, quiet location in the centre of Copenhagen. The rooms are clean, fresh and neat. Staff service is excellent, they are helpful, friendly and polite. Will definitely come again

Since the property doesn’t have air conditioning, we opened the windows at night. Our room was in the 4th floor overseeing the court yard. Lots of noise came from the courtyard at all hours of the night to include past midnight hours. The hotel management should control the courtyard noise in consideration to other guest that are trying to sleep.

We have chosen to stay here not once but on both trips to Copenhagen. I love the hotels design, style, staff and the lovely breakfast each morning. For Americans used to relying on AC it’s refreshing to be able to open the windows in summer to let the cool air in.

Great hotel with one of the best lobby I’ve ever been to. So well-designed. The rooms are spacious, the staff is amazing and really friendly. The location is ideal. I thought breakfast was very good and the gym decent. Two things that I would give feedback on: I wish they had better bikes, and that there would be A/C in the room. With global warming, it’s not always cold in Copenhagen. Otherwise, I highly recommend Hotel King Arthur.

The breakfast buffet was superior. The courtyards were wonderful and quiet. The only downside was that the room had no AC or fan, but it wasn't a significant problem for us because we could leave a window open. It could be a problem later in the summer (our stay was in mid-June). The web site doesn't say this, but there is a back entrance on Vendersgade. Look for the sign on the left side of the street and go through the gate to the courtyard. It's a wonderful hotel that I can highly recommend.

We have stayed at the Hotel Kong Arthur several times over the last few years. It's in a convenient location, the rooms are usually quite good and the staff are friendly and helpful. Unfortunately, this last stay was in a room (503) on the top level and three of the walls followed the roofline and the ceiling was very low in many places. I had to duck my head coming in the door and the ceiling was so low at the head of the bed it wasn't possible to sit there and watch TV. My wife and I both bumped our heads a few times but fortunately no real damage was done to heads or the ceiling. The room did have a small outside area and a bit of a view (mostly other rooftops) so perhaps some people would consider that a fair tradeoff but for us it wasn't. I didn't ask to be moved to another room as we were only staying a couple of nights, but I won't stay in a room like that again...

Great hotel. Interesting, comfortable, great staff and a nice breakfast. My only criticism is the luggage room, which is unsupervised. It was packed with suitcases and difficult to navigate. Apart from that, excellent.

This is a lovely hotel. The situation is excellent with most central sights 30 minutes walk away. Really good transport links. Our room, a junior suite, was large with a super king size bed. It was clean and comfortable. The public rooms are light and airy. There is a 'cozy hour' from 5 to 6 every day when drinks are free. The breakfast buffet is outstanding. All of the staff were friendly and helpful.

Staff were outstanding! Helpful and courteous. The only negative was our bathroom. Water from the shower went all over bathroom floor and could not be contained with provided shower curtain. They actually provided a squeegee to get water back into shower area….a first for me. Also no counter space, just a sink. Also when sitting on toilet the toilet paper roll was up against your legs. Room 334. The room itself was spacious and very comfortable bed. Breakfast was amazing!
