Room was clean, beds & pillows super comfortable. The staff was extremely professional & helpful. Breakfast buffet was excellent. Hotel is in a very good area. You get a good view of the Lake also.

When I made the reservation, I asked if we could split the cost between 2 cards since we were staying 2 nights and they said yes, then when we got there it couldn't be done. They asked if we requested housekeeping for our 2 night stay, there were 2 of us that were on the reservation, we stated no, but were only given 3 towels, not sure a 4th one wasn't part of the reservation. The room had a stale odor emitting when you walked in each time, I am thinking it was a moldy smell from the air conditioner. Apparently we had a family with children on top of our floor that chose to run back and forth for long periods of time.

The room was clean but not spotless. Light swithches embedded with dirt. Hair in bathroom. The pool was not open even though no advertised closed for season on website. Staff were around but not overly friendly. Didnt say hi unless spoken to first. Breakfast was normal for Best Western and out at 0600 every day. Ice machine needed to be replaced. Due to outside and not extremely clean questioned sanitary quality of ice. And needed to press on button and push to the left to get the ice out. USB outlet on light fixture to charge phones near beds didn't work. Rod to hang clothes rusted. Beds were comfortable despite the metal bases that made noises when getting on or off the bed.

Hotel was in a great location, clean. Updated rooms, free breakfast was good food and variety. Super cute waffles in Texas shape. The only thing that was not pleasant is no elevator, and they charged me $ 20 to check out 1 hr later than the 11am mark. I have never been charged in the past at previous stays. Other than that my stay was good. Night clerk, Tiffany was amazing. Super helpful,resourceful nice and was phenomenal 👏

The room was dirty. The room had not been cleaned. When we arrived at 9:00 at night, we had to go to front desk to have some one clean the bugs that were everywhere. The toilet seats were nasty. They obviously had not been cleaned. When we spoke to the front desk again on check out, all we got was oh, that’s definitely a problem. No mention of making a refund of any kind except for 10% on two rooms which were almost $800 for three nights. We will never stay here again and don’t recommend it to anyone! It’s a shame that there are t any nice hotels in Montgomery, TX. Stay in Conroe!!!
