Bienvenidos a "La Buena Vida" . Our newly developed guesthouse is a beautiful, comfortable, and relaxing space. The house offers complete privacy, with no shared spaces except the gate entrance. It has a beautiful backyard with a Jacuzzi and a Gazebo for a great relaxing time. Enjoy nature and magical sunsets. Lots of birds, clean air, and a lovely breeze. We are located in a safe closed community, 5 min. drive from Atenas and 35 min. from the airport.

• The drive to your guesthouse is very easy on paved roads. Atenas is even reachable on foot, taking about 40 minutes to walk into town (steep but not overly challenging!).

• Enjoy your own elevated beautiful gazebo and hot tub. There is a barbecue, a table that seats six, a sofa, and a hammock chair, providing lots of ways to enjoy the outdoors.

• There is parking available for up to two cars.

• You’ll enjoy easy access to nearby nature trails to enjoy all the beauty of Costa Rica.
Make yourself comfortable in your vacation home, featuring a refrigerator and a microwave. Complimentary wireless internet access keeps you connected, and a Smart television is provided for your entertainment. The bathroom has a shower and a hair dryer. The home was well done and the bed was comfortable. We had all that we needed and what we didn’t could be obtained at the local stores. Raquel is the absolute BEST! She was very responsive to our communications and answered a lot of our questions. AND she has chickens and gave us some eggs for some breakfasts

Fabulous visit

I stayed for two weeks. Initially I thought perhaps it might be too long but it was perfect. The guest house is well equipped and very comfortable. Although the property is shared with the hosts it is very private, separated by hedges and trees, and quiet. My hosts were wonderful, welcoming, thoughtful and interesting. I enjoyed the proximity to Atenas, easily walkable if you don’t mind a bit of uphill, for shopping and eating. I plan to return.

Short stay - repeat visit

Raquel & Boaz are great hosts. The location is very convenient and you can walk into town (sidewalk most of the way). Clean and comfortable accommodations and a well-stocked kitchen if you prefer to prepare meals. Highly recommended.

Great stay in Atenas

Lovely stay in a spacious casita. Hosts were welcoming, friendly and helpful while respecting privacy. Kitchen was clean and had everything needed to prepare some meals. Beds were comfortable. Restaurants and shops in Atenas are just minutes away. Views from the property are lovely, and we even saw toucans in the trees. Highly recommended!
