The Hamlet House is a lovingly curated stay hosted by Stupendous Stays in the heart of Columbus’ vibrant Italian Village. Located on a historic brick street just blocks from the Short North Arts District, this 3-bedroom, 2-bath home blends historic charm with modern comfort and backyard relaxation.

We also offer many family-oriented amenities, including a pack-n-play. The space is not baby-proofed.

Streaming services are not provided. Please feel free to log in to your accounts. The Roku TV in the living room has a guest mode available. Do remember to log out before checking out. You can set the dates, and the TV will automatically log you out.


We do have a moderate cancellation policy. We recommend that guests purchase travelers' insurance due to unforeseen circumstances. We do not give refunds due to weather or natural disasters.


Start-up quantities of amenities such as toilet paper and paper towels are provided. Replenishment is up to the guest as they see fit.

There is no handicap access. There are steps to enter the front and back doors of the house.

Guests with allergies and related medical issues and/or sensitivities-
We do not allow smoking inside but DO allow approved dogs in our properties. We cannot guarantee with 100% certainty that the unit is free of pet dander, cigarette smoke, air fresheners/cleaning product scents, or any other elements that may trigger a medical problem or sensitivity. We unfortunately cannot offer any refunds based on any triggered sensitivities.


To make this process easy for you, we use a secure and very simple, app‑free platform called Happy Guest. It is not an app, and you do not have to sign up for an account ‑ it’s a safe and secure website. It also gives you a guest portal with all the info about the home and all of my favorite local spots.



- Important: These steps must be completed to receive check-in details. Skipping them means we can’t provide arrival info, and refunds aren’t possible.


ID & Rental Agreement Match Required:

The name on the reservation must match the government-issued ID and the name on the rental agreement. The booking guest is required to sign the rental agreement and submit a valid ID prior to check-in. No third-party bookings allowed. If the names do not match, the reservation may be subject to cancellation without a refund.

Avoidable fees:

•$750 avoidable fee for unauthorized parties or events
•No glitter or confetti allowed, $300 avoidable fee if found in property
•$500 avoidable fee for smoking inside, you may smoke outside. Sensors in the house will detect cigarette and marijuana smoke
•Extra Person beyond the number of authorized guests reserved is subject to $75 per person per night fee. Persons on the premises past 9PM are subject to additional guest fees.
•$200 unauthorized late checkout avoidable fee
•$250 fee for unauthorized commercial photography or videography. Please Contact us for our hourly rates if you wish to take photos or video at the property.
•The use of tape on the home’s walls, ceilings, and furnishings is not permitted.
•Tampering with, unplugging and/or covering of Ring cameras, noise monitoring devices and smoke monitoring devices is grounds for immediate reservation cancellation without refund

Hot tub: Please shower before using the hot tub and avoid applying lotions, oils, or creams beforehand, as these affect water quality. For safety, no glass containers are allowed in or around the hot tub, and children must always be supervised. We recommend limiting soak time to 15–20 minutes at a time. After each use, kindly replace the cover to help maintain temperature and cleanliness. The hot tub is thoroughly cleaned and sanitized after every guest stay to ensure it’s fresh and ready for you. Please note, a $250 cleaning fee will be charged if the hot tub is left excessively dirty or if these rules are not followed.


Pet rules and avoidable fees:

* Dogs only, no other pets allowed. Must be approved before booking.

* Two dogs max with combined weight less than 100lbs
* Must be over 1 year old
*$100/dog pet fee
* Prohibited per insurance: An animal or pet that is vicious or has previously bitten or injured, or if any occupant has a dog of the breed shown: Akita, Alaskan Malamute, American Staffordshire Terrier, Bullmastiff, Chow Chow, Doberman Pinscher, Great Dane, Pit Bull, Presa Canario, Rottweiler, Siberian Husky, Staffordshire Bull Terrier, Any Wolf Hybrid, any mix of these breeds.
* Undisclosed pet fee $500 and grounds for reservation termination without refund depending on severity of situation.



* Remove all poop from the yard ($50 per pile if found on property upon checkout). Please use the provided bags and dispose of in trash can beside property to avoid this fee.
* Crate dogs when owners are away.
* Leash and maintain control of dog when outside
* Please discourage dogs on any beds/furniture to help keep it nice for future guests. Cover furniture and bedding with the provided pet sheets and pet blankets. Please do not use human sheets/blankets for pets.
* $50 fee per bed/furniture if excessive pet hair found on it. This is what the cleaners charge me in such instances. Please use the provided dog sheets/blankets to avoid this.
* Please do not use solid white towels for pets. Instead, use dog towels located in pet basket.
* Do not enclose dog(s) alone in any room.
* Please be considerate and keep pet messes cleaned up, including fur accumulation, spillage from food & water bowls, drooling, dirty paws, etc.
* All dogs must be free of fleas and must be current on flea & tick treatment as well as shots.



•Please double check that you have all of your items prior to leaving. There is a $25 handling fee, plus shipping costs, to return all left behind items.

•Drugs and other illegal substances strictly prohibited
•Any illegal activity is strictly prohibited
•Floor/stairs may be slippery, be cautious
•Empty dryer lint trap after each use
•Use only dedicated black makeup removal towels to remove makeup
•Damages- subject to cost of the item for repair or replacement
• Check-in is anytime after 4:00 PM
• Checkout is 11:00 AM or earlier
• Quiet hours are from 10:00 PM to 8:00 AM
• Wifi router, modem, decibel monitoring device, and security cameras may not be unplugged at anytime. Decibel monitoring device is located in the kitchen. It does not record anything, it only monitors noise decibel levels. This helps prevent parties from happening. Outdoor security camera is located at the front door. The cameras and decibel monitoring devices are on 24/7.
•$750 unauthorized pet fee



Internet access: We make every effort to ensure this service is working properly, but we are not responsible for problems with internet service or the guest’s computer. We do not provide any technical support and no refunds are issued for internet service related problems. We would ask you to reset the router, but it is other than that it is out of our control


This rental is privately owned; the owners are not responsible for any accidents, injuries, or illnesses that occur while on the premises or its facilities. The owners are not responsible for the loss of personal belongings or valuables of the guest. By accepting this reservation, it is agreed that all guests are expressly assuming the risk of any harm arising from their use of the premises or others whom they invite to use the premise.

We use a web-based system called Happy Guest, and you’ll receive a personalized rental agreement to complete to receive your arrival instructions.

Note: arrival info won’t be sent without completing these steps, and refunds aren’t possible if skipped. Your personalized guidebook will give you all the info about the home, my favorite local spots, automatic early check-in notifications, and sometimes even late checkout! You can even share it with friends and family!


Early Check-In: Early check-in is sometimes available, but not guaranteed. If the home is ready early, the hour before check-in time is always free, and if you’d like to get in earlier, it’s $25/hr.

Late Check-Out: Late check-out is sometimes available, but not guaranteed. If it is available, it’s $50.
