Worth the price

No restaurant on property, but on is in the works. If you decide to go to Waffle House, walk there, it’s easier. The room was clean but dated. I was comfortable and had everything I needed.

The room wasn’t cleaned daily. The trash can was emptied and the dirty towels were exchanged. The bed was never made up. The room was small. The room should be updated, mainly the bathroom.

Overall Stay

Overall my stay was well. I arrived on Friday for a weekend church event. I must say that the room I started out in was not it at all. I went back to the service desk in tears because what I saw online was extremely different. However Shawn D. was very understanding and accommodating which made my staff a little more pleasant.

Desk clerk wasn't prompt but nice. Public area was clean but our room not so much. Mold in bathroom on tiles, vents were really dusty and black. You could tell they didn't mop bathroom floor. Tops of bed frame had a layer of dust. Breakfast food not so great either. For being a Wyndam Garden Hotel, I expected better. 150$ nightly stay. Very disappointed.

I drove 4 hours thinking i was going to check in and relax just to get there and they tell me they dont accept chime as a payment. Talk about somebody was aggravated immediately 😒

We arrived on time, thinking we would go to bar to unwind, no, no , no false advertising cause on pictures they have a bar. The rooms look like they were old, and on outside and they bought it from company and made there own, like they cousins across the street. Internet did not work told front desk , no one ever did anything. Rain very hard while we stayed, rain through window onto the A.C. Unit unplugged cause, didn’t want anything happening. Shower head came off and hit me in my head, I reported all this and no one never even acknowledged anything or the issues. The young lady at front desk promised someone would take care of everything, no one ever showed in the three days we stayed. I will never stay at any hotel on horseshoe drive. I was not accommodated properly at all. Room 253

Not a great one

The hotel was vert dirty. The room smelled lie a mixture of must and stale cigarettes . The bathroom was awful. The shower surround was cracked and pieces were missing....probably where the mold smell was coming from...the surfaces everywhere were just dirty and grimy.
