If I could give extra stars, I would! We took our six teenagers on an roadtrip for spring break (because we are crazy) and they all said this was the BEST place we’ve ever stayed in! It was beautiful, clean, homey, well-stocked, and so comfortable. Janelle was such an incredible hostess—friendly and responsive—we only had a tiny issue with the Keurig and she sent a new one within the hour. She also sent someone out to check on the hot tub for us because I mentioned it looked a little low. The kitchen was stocked above and beyond what we needed. We cooked dinner at the house every night and had no issues needing items to have full meal with (pots or pans, etc.) It was really fun having basically three bedrooms downstairs and two upstairs—we felt like we could all spread out and relax after a lot of “togetherness” hiking and whatnot. :) My favorite part—besides the cozy, huge, clean living room and the spacious dining area—was the VIEW. At night you can see all of Colorado Springs from the hot tub or while you are sitting at the fire pit. The city twinkles at night because of the high altitude and dark mountain backdrop. The sunrise was amazing every morning from the deck. My kids were only slightly sad that the pool was not open, but the hot tub sufficed. We went to The Garden of the Gods, Pike’s Peak, the Cheyenne Zoo, and downtown Colorado Springs—all just a few minutes away from the house. It was an epic trip, and the house made it all so easy and fun!
