Good stay for a family
Our family decided to book this property despite the weird reviews and/or lack thereof because we needed a room with two twin beds as opposed to a bunk bed, which is surprisingly hard to find. It worked out fine during our stay and there were no issues. Communication was excellent, responsive and prompt. Great location and quiet neighborhood.
The property itself was older and could use a little updating (some broken cabinet pulls, mismatching finishes, wobbly fixtures) but comfortable enough. Several of the high windows in the main living area don’t have window coverings, which would help with privacy and insulation. Kitchen was stocked with dishes and utensils, and enough basics to cook a meal.
I appreciated that some doorknobs and cabinets had child locks; however, the upstairs bathroom was so close to the stairs that it was a little stressful having small children upstairs going to and from the rooms/bathroom. For this reason, I’m not sure if we would stay here again, but if your kids are older it would totally fine (my youngest was under 2). Also, the king size bed in the master bedroom was very soft. My husband and I ended up sticking the baby/pack n play in the master bedroom while we slept on the queen size bed in one of the other rooms, which was much more firm and comfortable and had room darkening curtains.
