The only good thing about this hotel is that it is close to the beach. This "resort" was by far in the worst shape I have ever seen. There were gaps between the front door and door frame, the bathroom was chipped and falling apart, and the entire area was in ruins. Thankfully, we were refunded.

Double booking rooms

First room was already occupied. New room was double booked and someone was trying to enter the room at midnight. Next morning verified that no one was going to be entering our room. Went shopping and came back to find we were locked out of our room. We left!!!!

We started out our trip in a 2 queen bed hotel room. It was gross! Chipping paint, very beat up and not taken care of in a very long time. We changed our travel plans and stayed more nights. We switched to a king bed room. This was a little better but we had tiny little ant like bugs, everywhere!!! I’m thankful we didn’t spend much time in our room at all! The shower in this room was awful!! It trickled!! Took 20min just to wet my medium length hair!! The showers by the beach had better pressure!! We heard while down there it was closing their doors. Sad, it’s a beautiful place if it was taken care of!! The pool area was nice. The drinks there were good & reasonably priced!! Our bartender, Josh was the best!!! So friendly & kind!! I would never have spent that kind of money in that kind of an environment!! It was run down to almost nothing! People living there, cops came poolside Saturday afternoon because a fight broke out! I’m sure it was from people that lived there…. Scared walking around there at night!! Not all the lights worked either. Big gaps in the main doors too! All around the place was a sad dump!!!

Just found out the facility is being demolished so the property has not been kept in perfect condition. Saddens us bc the property has been in our family and friends history since growing up as the Holiday Inn. Saddened to know that so much will be destroyed instead of the property being upgraded and kept.

Needs help

The hot tub wasnt working. The fitness room wasnt available. Bugs in the room when we got there. Had a bad smell everywhere.. especially one side of the building smelled like someone puked. It was very run down. I found out that it is being torn down so they really didnt care. Was not happy with this place. When i get a place i expect the pool, hot tub, and fitness to be available because that is why i book what i do.

Place is literally falling apart. Only saving grace was the bar staff at the pool area. Otherwise this place needs a ton of updating. The shower handle fell off when we used it, bugs in the room, etc.

Terrible hotel. The pictures on the app are 100% different they don't even come close to the real story. Cockroaches in 2rooms. Tv not working just down right bad. Its a crime how much they want for this place. Nasty and dirty.

Affordable and on the beach

Last of the affordable hotels ON the beach. Not the fanciest or best kept property, but if you just need a place to sleep between your days on the beach, this is a great choice.

Nothing matched the pics. The gounds was dark at night. The staff was short. The pool was horrible. The Spa was closed! The kids pool was closed. The toilet water came out the bottom when flushed. The tub didnt drain.

The pictures here make it seem great. The lobby was good. You don't see its full grotess until you are walking to your room and the crackheads living in various rooms around property. My door didn't fully close! The pirate ship thing would be awesome if it wasn't falling apart! they had to close it because a kid got hurt from a broken piece.

Always love this place. We love the kiddie pool its like no other. The rooms are dated. We are sad to find out they are tearing it down. 😢

The outside was great, the rooms are disgusting and outdated. Floors were filthy and nasty inside the rooms, had to wear shoes at all times in room. friend found a crab in her toilet the second morning and checked out.
