We loved our stay. It was like having your own private retreat. Roomy for 2 people, clean and our hostess did a great job of making the check in process smooth, was informative about the area and prompt in responding to questions. The cleaning lady came 3 times a week and was very nice. It was convenient to have your own laundry. The small pool was refreshing and very private. The location is close enough to everything yet removed enough for privacy. It’s a 5 min walk to the beach but either a 4 wheeler which many use or a rental vehicle( get at least an SUV not a low riding sedan due to the condition of the roads) is necessary to get to many of the restaurants or other beaches. Everyone we met during the trip was nice friendly and helpful. Not everyone spoke English but many did. If you like a little bit of adventure and beautiful beaches ( many a short drive away you often have mostly to yourself) this is a great place to go.

Perfect Location - Excellent Property - Awesome Host

The location was perfect. On a quiet road between the main road and the beach. It is far enough away from the busy, dusty areas of Santa Teresa so you don’t get the road noise, while also being close enough that it only takes a few minutes to drive into town. The house is right between great beaches like Hermosa, Santa Teresa, and Manzanillo. For food, cafe Social is a very short walk up the street and great for breakfast or lunch. Muzza has fantastic sourdough pizza. Everything at the Bakery is good. Grocery stores are close. Julie is a fantastic host. She responded to all our questions quickly and helped us out on multiple occasions. She helped us get a great deal on a side by side for a couple of days. We had a small rental car and a side by side at the same time for a bit and both were able to park inside the gated property. A daily house keeper was so nice The property is bigger than it looks in the photos! Main bedroom is large - we had two adults in the king bed, a five year old on a twin mattress on the ground, and a baby in a pack n play and had plenty of space. There is also a large walk in closet. The yard is large and surrounded by pretty foliage. Outdoor shower was great for rinsing off everything after the beach. Pool was fun for the kids and partially shaded. Highly reccomend staying at Julie’s place. Good AC, good WiFi, minimal bugs, comfortable bed, great kitchen gear, outdoor bathtub, washer and dryer. It was the perfect home base for exploring the area.

I cannot overstate how wonderful our stay was at this lovely property. Starting with our host who was genuinely kind and extremely helpful providing recommendations and assistance in a timely manner. Even offering to setup a separate bed for our 4 year old that worked perfectly. The checkin / checkout process was seamless and Nahid was always proactive with communication - I was grateful for her warm demeanor and professionalism. The home is exquisite and thoughtfully designed! The grounds are meticulously kept with gorgeous natural landscaping, a stunning wood outdoor table for al fresco dining, outdoor couch, pool, yoga mats, etc.. EVERY detail accounted for to ensure guests are comfortable. Very Boho Chic. Additionally, a cleaning service (unbeknownst to me) comes daily to ensure the home is spotless when you come back from exploring daily. This was an added luxury that truly enhanced our stay. Location is impeccable! Away from the noise and congestion found in Santa Teresa center, however moments away from all restaurants. We had the pleasure of seeing many species of birds, howler monkeys, butterflies and iguanas without leaving the property. Additionally, Rocamare Beach Restaurant is 1 street over (4 min walk). It was a wonderful location to enjoy memorable sunsets with family, enjoy good food, surf and meet interesting people from all over the globe. We were sad upon leaving as we fell in love with this home and location. Simply magical.
