Room was fine, so was the pool. Busy train tracks were irritating
Hot, humid air outside could not be handled by inside A/C so stanky air in lobby area. Room A/C set at 66 degF so floor in bath was actually 'sweating' after we got inside. Fan/light in bathroom not wired correctly so fan was always on even with dual switches (?).
The hotel was fine. We were there for 16 hours and it served our needs. There was a definite musty odor, and the floor of our room was slightly moist. There were several people smoking outside the front doors, which made the smoke a problem. Overall, an ok place but would likely not stay again.
The only inconvenience was the locations of the ice machines. At the very end of the hall on the first first floor and by the elevator on the third floor. We were on the second floor where there wasn't an ice machine
The room over all was clean. Didn’t expect or love the train horn every few minutes. Toilet had a very unfortunate large stain and the safely latch on the door was part broken and part missing. Sheets were clean and very comfortable, staff was nice
All the staff was super friendly, very accommodating very kind. The breakfast was really good. It was very clean. I will definitely stay there again and visit with my family.
I like that we were able to check in late. However, we had car issues and couldn't get there till about 5am. I asked them to move the dates from June 13 to June 14 to June 14th-June 15th. They said that since I checked in at 5am that they wouldn't switch the day because that's considered a full day. They also said when I called that me checking in late wouldn't be an issue. However, they put me as a no show and then when I got there they gave me an occupied room and the guy gave me an attitude when I came downstairs to fix the situation saying his coworkers before him didnt note the room as occupied and that he's getting really stressed out. When I finally got into the room it was clean and spacious. Smelled a little musty. Breakfast was decent for a hptwl breakfast. Other staff were nice.
