Nestled on the old "Roman road", nestled on the edge of the vast national forest of Pourlans ("green lung" of 660 ha dotted with ponds & footpaths, to explore on foot or mountain bike), neighboring the banks of the Saône & Doubs (paradise for kayakers & fishermen, famous for its catfish, pikeperch or carp, with natural beaches, remarkable ecosystem protected in "Natura 2000 Zone" for its exceptional ornithological reserve rich in 160 species of birds & very rare plant varieties) in the hollow of a gentle agricultural plain, Clux-Villeneuve benefits from a soothing rural & natural preserved setting combining fields of crops, meadows, ponds & vast wild forests.
