This two story house is located in Clifton,YellowSprings, 3miles N. OfCedarville

The house is located in our garden and is close to many area attractions. The first floor has a full bathroom (shower only) situated in one corner . The remainder of the first floor (completely remodeled January 2023) is a living area , a fully equipped kitchen with a queen sized bed to one end that has a curtain partition.
On the second floor is a library/game room with a table/chairs and recliners on one half while the other half has two bedrooms with a full size bed in each room..
The front porch is a great place to relax , the separate patio area is great to sit and relax also and is the only permissible place to smoke on the property. Everyone is invited to tour the gardens or to find a quiet place to sit and relax.
We are 3 miles out of Yellow Springs and 1 1/2 blocks from the entrance to the Clifton Gorge. Glen Helen Reserve, John Bryan State Forest , The Indian mound trail in Cedarville are all within three miles.
Daytons' Air Force Museum, Springfields' Antique Extravaganza are only a couple of attractions that are within a thirty mile radius.
There is so much to do ! We have brochures and information located in the cabin.
Mostly we invite you to sit in the gardens and in the cabin for a quiet and relaxing retreat.

The nightly rate is $10.00 more for each additional guest of more than two. $145.00 is the nightly rate for one and two guests. Our weekends require a 2 night stay.

We stayed at this property while dropping off our daughter at nearby Cedarville University. We loved the close proximity to the school...just down the street. Clean and cozy home...the gardens provided some peace for us on a weekend with lots of emotions. Host was accessible and responsive. We would stay here again when in the area. Was a perfect place to stay for us!

The cabin was so cute and the gardens were absolutely beautiful! The entire property was immaculately clean, and had everything we could have possibly needed! Checking in and out was a breeze, and the owners were extremely friendly. We especially loved looking around the inside of the house for all of the hidden little figurines! Great place! Nice cabin

Great location. Close to everything. Ken the owner was very courteous and helpful throughout. The cabin is very quaint and has some interesting little areas and coves. The backyard is beautiful landscaping and has little path and areas that you can walk through. that was really pretty.Would definitely go back and recommend

Oasis garden within minutes of Yellow Springs!

From check-in to check-out, our hosts were perfectly helpful. The garden was a bonus, an oasis filled with lovely flowers, herbs, trees, and birds to help us relax. The cabin was super clean, and included everything--plus more--that we could ask for to make our stay pleasant and perfect. Thank you to our hosts for a lovely, relaxing stay in a quiet, unique cabin very close to Yellow Springs.

Blissful retreat in the garden

I was in the area seeing family and this location was perfect. More than just charming and restful, the property is loaded with a fully stocked kitchen and has thoughtful touches like hooks in all the right places and night lights. The mattress and bedding were very comfortable and every surface was dust free and linens were fresh and plentiful. Ken is extremely kind and an attentive host. He went out of his way to make me feel welcome. The garden is amazing and you can see all the love and care that goes into the entire property. I highly recommend.

We were super happy with our stay at the cabin. The owner was very friendly and met us upon arrival. The cabin was spacious, well furnished and had wonderful little quirky decorations we kept finding. The cabin was definitely bigger than my wife and I needed, better suited for more people but we will 100% recommend this property and will be back next year for our visit to Ohio.

Unbeatable location

The house has a terrific location- Clifton Mill & Clifton Gorge preserve are steps away & Yellow Springs is just minutes by car.Downside- there is only one small bathroom in the place, on the 1st fl. Two bedrooms are on the 2nd fl & there’s not a sink or any type of running water up there.Also too many labels/ signs warning you to not touch/use/move items.

An amazing getaway

It is a yearly trip to yellow springs for me and my best friends who share the same birthday month. When we go, we always try and stay at the Garden Cottage. It's quiet and relaxing and Ken and Rob (property managers) are both very friendly and will help you anyway they can. The cottage never disappoints in being a cozy and relaxing place to stay. If you can go and experience it for yourself.

Quiet weekend

Was in the area for the weekend to attend a celebration of life for a friend who passed away. Originally planned to visit the nearby parks with my husband. My husband couldn’t make it & it rained all weekend. But the Clifton Garden Cabin was the perfect place for me to unwind after a long drive on Friday and an emotional day on Saturday. It was cozy and comfortable and I thoroughly enjoyed my stay.

Fun Little Stay

My kids and I loved staying here! The place was clean and well kept. The owners clearly care about their property and your experience. It’s a perfect spot for a little family, small group or a couple. We hope to be back in warmer weather so we can enjoy the fabulous garden area.
