Spend the extra money to stay elsewhere

Old building that looks like they have try to patch together over time. Deadbolt wall lock completely missing from our first room. They did manage to move us to another room with a lock. Exterior doors not secured and left open for anyone, not just hotel guests. Shower rod barely attached to wall. Shower water pressure low because half of water was still coming out of the faucet. Tub so slanted it felt like it might fall thru the floor at any moment. Breakfast was lacking. No hot water for oatmeal. Waffle maker cakes with old dry waffles made it impossible to remove after making one. Elevator felt so old I was worried we were going to get stuck- buttons didn't work, jerking movements and alarming sounds when moving up and down. Rooms did seem well cleaned.

Great staff!

The front desk folks could not have been more friendly and helpful! The pool was being serviced our first night there which disappointed the kids, but they kept us updated, and told us right away when it was available. The maintenance man was nice too, and gave us some good tips on things to do in Cleveland. They also put us on the top floor which meant we had a good view, and the kids got to ride the elevator a lot :D

Pretty gross hotel. The bathroom was horrible. Tub looked like someone had been murdered in it but turned out to just be rust stains on where you have to stand for the shower. TV didn't operate. Took forever to get online with their wifi. Excercise room was 100 degrees and equipment isn't great. Had to pay a deposit when I checked in. That should've been my first clue.

When I arrived the room I was given was dirty. Sheets were dirty and microwave as well. We back to front desk and received a new room. This room I thought was decent until we needed to take showers and the tub filled up while taking a shower and was backed up for hours. I contacted the front desk nothing happened. Due to the late check in all I wanted was a shower. The next morning I went back to the front desk to let them know once again the tub was backed up and they stated someone will fix it. Came back that night to get in the shower and the tub was still backed up. This was a horrible experience I have never experienced this before and I am very disappointed in the stay.

The property overall was neat and clean. The exercise facilities were good and there was a variety of equipment. The beds were small and uncomfortable. The TV wasn’t plugged in, the phone didn’t work, and the refrigerator was broken. I asked for assistance and they kept referring to a manager that was not there during the stay.
