Stupid crap GM and roach ruined the stay
We checked in late….coming from
Cedar point. Staff on Friday was polite….arrived to our room the door was open. Like propped open. It was late and my kids were exhausted….i didn’t even bother…we ate dinner and went to shower…something else…stained towels. Again it was late….we were gone all day Saturday. Came back to the room late, went to sleep….for up at 3:30 am…got out of bed, bed side table on….bug running across the floor. I stepped on said bug….it was def roach. I immediately messaged hotels.com and explained what was going on. The person I spoke to asked for photos and then called the hotel. Brandon (who is apparently not a manager) said he would
Refund one of my nights for the inconvenience. I have ALL OF THIS IN WRITING. When i checked out the lady at the desk said he wasn’t authorized to do that. Asked for a picture of what I sent hotels.com when I called back to talk to the general manager, he told me he was not refunding the night even though I have it in writing they are refunding me a nights stay.
They accused me saying it wasn’t a bug it was plastic. IT WAS MOVING ACROSS THE FLOOR….it also has an exoskeleton. The manager was very rude and would not hold the message that was told me to at 3:30 in the morning. He said the man Brandon had no ability to refund me…I explained it didn’t matter, It was in writing. He told me that hotels.com didn’t email him. Do not stay here!!! Go closer to cedar point!
