The rug was stained, the walls showed cracks, and the plaster was crumbling. One of the beds had broken slats, and the bathroom was aged. Two hours before checkout, a cleaning staff member who did not speak English demanded that we check out.

The downtown Cleveland Comfort Inn has everything you need without the huge price tag. My wife and I walked back after a baseball game at Progressive Field. The free breakfast was very good. Compared to other Cleveland hotels, the parking charge was reasonable. I’d definitely stay there again.

This place was decent and less expensive than many others in the area. Somewhat goofy things included just a couple of machines and not a lot of AC im the fitness center, and soda vending machines with a limited selection.
