Great place for family

The location was great. Easy to walk to local restaurants. Eden Park and the Cincinnati Art Museum were so fun to visit . Excellent ice cream at the United Dairy Farmers nearby. The AC worked wonderfully as it was very hot and humid for our stay. The beds were comfortable, and the house accomdated our whole group with ease. We had a great time staying there.

My Adam’s townhouse

We had a very nice stay for a family get together in Cincinnati. TheProperty was large, beds comfy, well located and clean. The AC was a challenge for the upper level. Wish there was one more bathroom, but given the age of the property, understandable. Has been nicely renovated. My Adam’s had much to offer.

Cincinnati Stay

We experienced several small but impactful problems during our stay. 1. Absolutely no eating utensils. The manager was notified and utensils were purchased new and delivered after 12:00pm. This was not helpful when having to feed 4 adults and 2 children breakfast and lunch. The utensils needed a though washing prior to use. 2. The washing machine and dryer upstairs does not work. Manager was notified and we were told to use the laundry downstairs and were provided a code. Apparently the washer and dryer are behind a door that we could not open. We gave up. 3. Use of the iron and ironing board resulted in brown stains on our son's shirt that he needed for a wedding. 4. There are no dedicated parking spaces requiring a 70 and 75 yr. old to walk several blocks at night along with two small children, a 6 yr. old and a 16 month old. 5. Safety Concerns: There needs to be gates on both sets of stairs as these are not safe for young children. 6. The front door threshold is very loose most likely the result of extensive wood rot around the door frame. The inside of the home is very nice and very clean. The rooms are large and comfortable for a family with older children. Due to the lack of utensils, we were unable to use the kitchen and ended up eating meals out that we had not intended. I wish that we could provide a better review but feel that attention is not being paid to details and that the web site does not reflect the safety concerns of the stairs.

Fantastic property with lots of sleeping arrangements. This property was run by a management company, so communication was quick and efficient. The foosball table in the basement kept us entertained for hours! Really recommend this spacious stay in the heart of Cincinnati.

Nice on the inside. Neglected on the outside.

What this property has going for it is charm & location in the heart of Mount Adams. It’s nicely decorated; large 4 bedrooms with comfortable beds & bedding. It is an older home with character so uneven floors, steep front steps & uneven climate control. I would not recommend this property for older people, young kids or anyone with limited mobility. The front upstairs bedroom was warm & stuffy so we played a bit of musical bedrooms. Check in was easy. The next morning I texted 3 separate numbers to complain about how messy the outside was: weeds, mold & mildew, cigarette butts & garbage; I got no response . The front door sash & threshold are completely rotten and dangerous tripping hazard. When it rained, it came in through the front door. The kitchen was not well equipped. We had 2 forks & 1 butter knife,& only about 4 coffee mugs. There was no colander, no kitchen scissors or ice cube trays, no cork screw or bottle opener. There was a keurig with no reusable keurig cups which would have been nice as we brought our own coffee. Many of the light bulbs were out & lighting is very dim upstairs & in the living area. The toilet seats were very lose. The parking is on the street & pretty limited if you want to park close. All in all the property is nice but very expensive for the condition of the home. Home is advertised at @$300/night but with the fees it’s over $400/night. We were very disappointed by the neglected outdoor spaces & lack of comfortable outdoor furniture.

Great stay!

We were visiting for our niece’s wedding at The Monastery. This was a great location since it was walking distance from the venue. The property was clean and a great fit for our family of six. Street parking was easy during the daytime, but during the evenings it was a bit busier due to the nearby bars and restaurants.

Fantastic

Absolutely a wonderful home for our short stay in Cincinnati. Mt Adams is close to just about everything in and around the city. A perfect place to come back to every night. Most important thing, beds are very comfortable! Grand Welcome texted and emailed prior to arrival, day of arrival and prior to leaving. The personal text on arrival was completely unexpected but very appreciated. It just made me feel like someone truly cared about making our stay as comfortable as seemingly possible. Overall, we will definitely use GW and this property again if available. Lastly, some things to consider when visiting Cincy. Skyline Chili, The Hitching Post (Fried Chicken), Donatos Pizza (Hawaiian), and Graeters Ice Cream (anything with chip in the name). Reds baseball, the Creation Museum, The Ark Encounter, Louisville Slugger Museum, Findlay Marketplace, Newport Aquarium, and National Underground RR Freedom Center. All fantastic places to spend some time.

Birthday qeekend

Our group of 6 ladies stayed for the weekend to celebrate a 60th Birthday. The house is charming and in a great area. The house is comfortable, the beds and linens are nice. We stayed in on Friday and ate dinner at the house. We brought food, there could be more lkitchen items in the house, though we made it work. Good, hot showers. Nice place. Thank you.
