My stays experience

I stayed in room 135 and the door entrance into the room would not fully shut under its own weight. When I entered the room I had to manually shut the door behind me and when I left the room, I had to manually close the door behind me. The tub/shower drain was open but yet, water pooled around my feet when I took a shower. The coffee cups in the breakfast dining area are too small. Two cups = one cup for my liking.

I HAD TO CHANGE ROOM THREE TIMES BEFORE A ROOM WAS UP TO STANDARDS. TOILET CLOGGED IN FIRST ROOM, SHEETS NASTY IN THE NEXT AND THE STAFF GAVE US SHEETS AS IF WE WERE TO CHANGE THEM OURSELVES. FINALLY THE THIRD ROOM WAS OK BECAUSE WE WERE SO TIRED FROM MOVING FROM OTHER TWO ROOMS

Staff were friendly! Room was clean, with issues…

Desk staff were so kind and friendly! Hotel was nice and breakfast had a lot of options. Breakfast staff was very nice! The room appeared well kept, however the AC unit sounded as if there was a bag flapping in the wind the whole time, the tv brightness kept getting brighter then extremely dark, the sink wouldn’t be drained after several minutes of not using it. I brought these up with desk staff and they immediately wrote it down and offered for maintenance to come by. They did say other rooms had complained of their sinks not draining as well. Hallways were clean and kept up with. Pool was SO COLD! Especially for it being indoors. Pool area was however very well maintained and clean. I would definitely recommend the hotel to others, just be aware the room may have an issue or 2.

Breakfast was decent but pancake maker was out of order every day of our stay. Why leave it out if it doesn’t work? Front desk was frequently unattended. When we asked if our grandkids could come over and swim we were lectured about room size and fire hazards. Just wanted to know if we could get the “required” wrist bands for swimming pool. We gave our wristbands to the kids and no one out of 30 or so people had a wristband in the pool. We needed towels replaced in our room. Asked housekeeping who said we had to go ask front desk. No one there again. Called and was told they would let housekeeping know. Came back later and nothing was replaced. Everyone had a Strive for Five on their uniform but lots of work needed for that success. Stayed here in the past with no issues. After this stay we will probably go elsewhere in Cincinnati area.
