The location of the hotel was perfect, which we really appreciated. However, the pool was extremely small and disappointingly dirty—cloudy to the point that I’ve never seen anything like it. It was a real shame and I hope management addresses this issue soon. We also stayed in a family room, which was so small that we couldn't even open our suitcases comfortably. Unfortunately, the space did not meet our expectations.

The area was good. Lots of options for food and shopping. The balcony view was as described, not great. But it was quiet. Breakfast was good options were ok. Overall I would stay there again.

We had a wonderful stay at Barcelo Carmen Granada. It is centrally located, has beautiful common areas, especially the rooftop bar, with views of the Alhambra. The staff was friendly and helpful, and the breakfast buffet was amazing. We would definitely come back on a future visit to Granada.

Would definitely stay here again

Just returned from a 3-night stay at this hotel and had a really solid experience overall. The place has a clean, modern feel throughout, which I appreciated. Our room was well-maintained and spacious enough, with daily housekeeping that kept everything tidy. The contemporary design and furnishings felt current without being flashy. Both check-in and checkout went smoothly - no issues or long waits, which is always nice when you're travelling. The breakfast buffet was definitely a highlight. Good variety of options, including local items alongside the standard fare, and the quality was better than I expected for a hotel breakfast. Staff were consistently friendly and helpful throughout our stay. Nothing felt forced or overly scripted - just genuine service, which made the experience more pleasant. The rooftop terrace is probably the hotel's best feature. Great views of the Alhambra and the city, making it a nice spot to unwind in the evening. The pool is on the smaller side, but it does the job if you want to cool off. The view while you're in it is pretty special. Location worked well for us - most of the main sights and areas we wanted to explore were within walking distance. We didn't need to rely on transportation much, which was convenient. Overall, it's a solid choice if you're staying in Granada. The combination of location, amenities, and service made for a comfortable stay. Would consider staying here again if we're back in the area.
