This property is well seated in the old history center within walking distance to many key monuments, restaurant, tapa bars and shops. The service of the hotel and quality of their food second to none. Great place if you like high quality hotels service within historic landmarks.

The hotel part and employees are nice but the gym was awful. It is used by people other than guests and they do classes. We had a more expensive room that faced the inside and you could clearly hear the classes. Going up to work out you felt like you had to push through the classes to get to the cardio equipment and weights. Like you shouldn’t be there. Then there is the issue of none of them being available. On my third trip back I got a treadmill but had to listen to the classes the whole time. The guy training was very nice I will say and turned the AC on for me. The girl though obviously didn’t want hotel guests there. The gym is on the 8th floor with no card access on the elevators. Not a place to have a gym being used by non guests and it was in no way big enough for that. One of the ladies at the desk argued with my husband when he expressed that this is an issue but one of the other workers admitted it could be an issue. It was obviously an issue. The parking was great and the hotel was very clean. If you don’t want to use the gym just make sure you get a room where you can’t hear it.

The beds were uncomfortable, my daughter’s bed had something on it that made her very allergic and uncomfortable, leading me to believe it was jot properly cleaned. The beds also have a weird one piece comforter and no top sheet that was obscenely hot to sleep under. So the option was no covers at all and chilly or swelter under this single comforter that was hot and itchy. To top it all off, they charged us for 2 days’ breakfast even though we could only use one (very early train) and would not remove the second day, despite the fact we left before the restaurant even opened. So 45 euro upcharge we got nothing out of and they refused to reverse even though we couldn’t eat the meal (the one day we dis get the breakfast it was okay though). I can’t recommend this place. For the price, you can do better.

Loved my stay here! The hotel lobby’s decor was beautifully modern and inviting. Loved my room - the shower was fantastic and bed very comfortable. The breakfast buffet had so many options — I wanted to try everything! And the hotel lobby bar was perfect for a glass of wine and tapas. I would stay here again!
