The owner allowed us to enter 1.5 hours early due to an early flight. We attempted to use the stove and oven. Nothing. We found the circuit breaker box and reset it. Dishwasher labeled “out of order” Owner contacted same day, “forgot to check a cycle run to see if its fixed”. Since oven stove worked, left it alone. 2nd day, complete power outage in the area for 3-4 hours. Neighbors stated, “power grid is not stable here.”Food stayed cold at least3rd day. 2am full power outage again. Uncomfortable night. Went out to eat and excursion since they had power. Returned early afternoon, still no power. Unable to shower. Neighbor says there is NO power outage. Owner contacted. 14 hours without power. Electrician arrived. Facility circuit breaker faulty, but he can’t replace. No guarantee it won’t happen again. I asked where it was so I could restore it myself at 2am if it occurs. I need my CPAP for sleep and A/C!Electrician departs, oven and stove don’t work again and circuit breaker won’t reset! Notified owner again since she stated “this is the first time you are letting me know you didn’t have power to appliances” and”I am not sure the last time my oven was used”Day 4. Oven and stove still not working. Remainder of electric functioning. Unable to access digital door lock. Asked neighbor for assistance, recurring problem. Notified owner. No response. Contacted VRBO for recourse, requested refund. Basic electricity! We DO NOT recommend this property for your stay in ST. CROIX
