Perfect location and friendly staff

Fable Christchurch is in a great location, within walking distance to the Christchurch tram and many restaurants. The hotel lobby is compact, but lovely and there is a good priced happy hour with decent wine and beer choices in the bar. Staff were great at the check-in desk and specifically,

Overall the hotel itself was nice but we did run into a few issues. One was that there was no kids menu (this was my oversight) although the Auckland, Canterbury and Dunedin hotels all have a kids menu. Next someone called my room (for a nice reason) at 9pm when I had a 4 year old asleep. Lastly the cleaner entered my room when I was getting dressed as they had marked us as checking out when we hadn’t.

Fantastic place at a great price.

First rate all the way. From the location to the cleanliness to the breakfast. We landed at 9 am and they were happy to store our luggage until check in time. It’s right in the heart of the city. So much to see and amazing gelato to eat nearby. Highly recommended.
