Not luxury but a nice hotel

The hotel has a great gym and nice views of the River and lake. Rooms felt a bit dated and I wouldn’t consider this a 4.5 star hotel. It’s a solid 4 but not luxury.

Nice hotel, service can do better

My reservation was paid for yet they did not have a room ready and needed to “create” a reservation and wait 20 mins. They did not give me a ticket for the vallet and the one individual at the vallet was unnecessary rude and accusatory for no reason the next morning. The hotel was really nice, clean, and comfortable but the two service incidents were disappointing.

Not as nice as I had remembered.

My son and I had a quick trip to Chicago for shopping and dinner. The hotel was nice, but the room was not as nice as I had remembered from previous stays. The shower was tiny, and one of my biggest pet peeves as a female traveler are tiny showers that don't provide enough space to feel comfortable, shave my legs, etc. It felt "economy" to me. Overall it was a good experience, just not "great" like I had remembered.
