Many restaurants in neighborhood. Walkable to public transportation for cultural activities. It was not easy to contact a person when I had questions. The outdoor furniture was dirty, the broom unusable, there were marks on many walls, no spices or oil available. However, the bed was comfortable and there was a w/d in unit with pods available. No cable, but Roku tv.

SONDER IS A SCAM. They will steal your money.

SONDER IS A SCAM. DO NOT STAY HERE UNLESS YOU WANT YOUR MONEY STOLEN. I paid for my stay in full through Hotels.com on May 19. After my trip was over, my credit card was charged an additional $850. I have been calling them everyday for 3 days. On the first day they said they would process my refund within 24 hours. On the second day, the customer service said snappily, “it’s going to take 24-48 hours” — not at all what the first customer service rep said. On the third day, I’m still out $850 with no communication at all from the Sonder team. The stay itself was mediocre. The bed was uncomfortable and creaky. There are lockers in the lobby where you can keep your bags after checkout if you have a late flight. When we got back to the building, the lockers were WIDE OPEN with our stuff just out in the open. Conceptually, Sonder is a good idea. In execution, the finishes are cheap and customer service will dick you around instead of trying to help you. Not to mention they WILL CHARGE YOU HUNDREDS OF EXTRA DOLLARS without explanation at all. DO NOT stay here.

Clean, spacious, sofa bed for 2 kids. It would be nice to have curtains as the blinds don’t block out the daylight when the sunrises.

We had a two hour problem trying to get the codes for the building and for the unit. Expedia and Sounder didn't seemed to be in the same communication channels. The phone call to Sonder was also lengthy.

Abdicated guest responsibility

From the moment we walked into the apartment, we were disappointed. It bore no resemblance to any of the photographs on the website. When I contacted them via the app (since there's no reception), I was told there was no alternative. Then there was the aircon issue. There was no control for the a/c in the lounge/kitchen area. Four of us looked EVERYWHERE for it, including inside cupboard. Their solution on the app? To look closer... Patronising much? It turned out the a/c in the lounge was controlled by the a/c unit in the smaller bedroom when clearly they should be separate. Overall, unimpressed and won't be returning. Kitchen facilities were good enough, including a kettle, and the availability of more dishwasher and washing tabs and toilet & kitchen roll was useful (though we only found out about them via a review, as there's no information booklet or information on the app about it). It was definitely not worth the money.

Had I known this property operated via a virtual front desk I would have stayed clear. The room was okay, but the time wasted getting “preregistered” and receiving entry codes was frustrating to say the lease. The app that I was instructed to download did not work. When I did speak with a human I was told it was a connection issue with Marriot and Sonder. The room did not have basic amenities, such as a box of tissues, plastic cups, ice bucket, etc. It didn’t even have a Gideon Bible lol. Walking into the lobby remined me of the movie “Brazil.” No one was there but there were phrases such as “a better way to stay” and “we are with you” posted on the walls. I was lucky my access codes actually worked. My neighbor could not get into his room and could not get hold of anyone to help. My advice stay away from this property!

Location terrible. Homeless. Smelt urine everywhere. Bed terrible- rough and noisy. Every time I moved it woke my boyfriend. Empty soap and etc…on the bath wall. No paper towels. One rag. Neighborhood have very shady characters. Do not come alone. Apartment wall need to be re-painted. Very disappointed. Over priced. Stay away. Drive there instead.

I liked the location. The room was a bit run down. The toilet paper roll fell off the wall. There was noticable grime on the walls. The plug for the bathroom sink was gross and needs to be replaced. It was disappointing that there was no fresh water (at least a couple of bottles). The tap water is not drinkable. And there was no vending machine to get water. The couch in the room was also pretty grimy and could stand to be cleaned. The bed was confortable and the A/C kept the room nice and cool even though the weather outside was extremely hot.

From the moment we arrived we had issues with our air conditioner. Sonder had us use the app to chat with support. I never got any proactive outreach and had to keep chasing them down to get any help. It took til the last night to get moved to a different room with air conditioning. Had the support been better, I’d given this a great review. I felt bad for whoever had to manage the chat, I’m sure that they would have preferred to solve a problem live on the phone but their management wouldn’t let them. They did provide a support phone number but that resulted in very very long hold times.

Only stay here if you can't find anything else

I would only recommend this place as a last resort. The cleanliness is sub par. For example, my bathroom drain was clogged when I got there with thick green grime. Which tells me the cleaning crew did not make an effort to get the issue resolved. The only way to get support is to use the app or call and wait a very long time on hold. My brother and his family were in a unit with no air conditioning the entire time and they were only move to a new unit on their final night. It's too bad. The place has potential.

We loved the easy entry with keypads. The apartment was beautiful with its glass windowed walls except in the early morning without blackout curtains. The shower was lovely and the kitchenette was great. Laundry in the room was amazing. The neighborhood was lovely and great for walking. The mattress was unfortunately squeaky and uncomfortable.

Great lodging!!! Very responsive staff and easy to access both light rail and busses (public transportation). A variety of cuisines nearby and great for grocery shopping with a spacious kitchen.

The building and apartments were good. The unit had flies, and it was filthy. I killed two spiders. It was just dirty, and the walls were scratched everywhere.
