Hotel was nice and staff were nice as well when I had called before we arrived the women who I spoke to were not very friendly and seemed like they didn’t want to help. Upon arrival the gentleman at the front was really nice. The room was a bit small and Ned wasn’t too comfortable they were double beds not queen and you can tell the difference. The room was humid and hot and I informed them every single day I was there for 4 nights and they kept saying they were going to send and engineer and no one ever went. I have the text messages. It was very hot in the city and coming in from a very hot day to a humid room was horrible. No one offered not even a fan they kept saying they were booked to capacity.

Great river views. Friendly valet gave us a card for a free appetizer at a local steak house. Front desk staff welcoming and efficient. Comfortable bed but the pillows were a little flat. Breakfast eggs Benedict in Hoyt’s were very good!

Room was great! Excellent view and so accessible to everything-shower door did not shut tightly do water was always on the outside of the shower causing us to use alot of towels -TV was intermittent-not a big deal but after a long day of sight seeing it would have been nice to relax in the room with a show to watch. Otherwise it was a great room, service, view and location!

Wonderful hotel. We had the Riverview suite with adjoining room for our entire family, which was wonderful. Felt like having an apartment in the heart of Chicago loop. Restaurants, shopping, activities/tours were all a 3–5 minute walk away. This is definitely where I will stay in my future visits to Chicago. FrontDesk, Belman, and attendance in the front of the hotel were all very nice and helpful.

Coodos to the employees

There was no microwave, and we didn’t know it could be brought into the room. The bathtub was a bit too small for a couple. I loved the shower, and I like Maria, the maid, and the bellhop there.

Beautiful restaurant. The housekeeping is amazing. Security and valet staff is hilarious and a good time. The front office truly depends on the person. Most people were kind. One heavy set Hispanic woman was rude for no reason. Luckily, the other people made up for her sour behavior. The bathrooms are odd in the room. The toilet/shower area does not have a door and it just open. The toilet didn’t have a cover over it so when you flush, it splashed water and germs are all over. Yuck! Pretty quiet and clean hotel. Can see some drunken ppl that are staying there in the lobby. Also, a few neighborhood crackheads can be seen once or twice a day outside near the doors but they aren’t just hanging around there all day. They don’t really bother you or even ask you for anything. Lastly, very nice gym. Decent equipment. Nice and clean. Plenty of fresh towels. Spacious enough to not be on top of others at the gym.
