As a long-time Marriott Bonvoy Platinum Elite member, I expect my loyalty to be met with respect, privacy, and professionalism. Unfortunately, my stay at the Renaissance Chicago O’Hare Suites fell far short.
On both mornings of my stay, housekeeping knocked and nearly entered my room at 9–10 AM — even though I wasn’t checking out. This was disruptive and unnecessary. My specific in-room dining request was ignored, and the interaction was handled in a way that felt accusatory, as if I might dispute charges — something I’ve never encountered at other Marriott properties.
When I brought these issues to management, I received only policy explanations and no meaningful resolution or gesture of goodwill. For those who value their status and expect consistent Marriott service standards, this property is a disappointment.
