They won’t guarantee anything booked through Expedia. No room, no view, anything specific that you pay and up-charge for on Expedia, they will not uphold at the hotel. They will charge you extra again at the hotel.

The room was nice & clean [2 queen beds + balcony] and the staff was pleasant & helpful. Beds were comfortable and cozy. We had a $25 credit for food & beverages which was useful. The pool area was clean and my kids had fun but the water temperature was not warm. Really surprised as most indoor pools are warm, especially in the winter. Valet parking was expensive at $70 per day but was told that is the weekend rate. Just know you are in the city and close to a firestation. Bring earplugs because I called the front desk to ask for them and was told they do not offer earplugs. Another surprise as most hotels have them at no cost. No microwave or refrigerator but i knew that going in. I only stayed 1 night so it wasnt a deal breaker. If I was to stay more than 1 night, I probably would have picked another hotel that had those amenities. Overall, the hotel is beautiful and a very convenient location with easy access to shopping, musuems & restaurants. It has a lovely event space and areas to mingle and/or relax.

I had difficulty accessing my room. I had to return to the front desk twice to tell them they key card wasn't working. I spoke with several different employees. Not one offered any sort of apology. One took my card, authorized another one & handed it to me without saying a word. When I returned, a woman rolled her eyes & called Security. I must say the security person was very nice & had a sense of humor. Everyone else treated me like a bothersome old woman.
