Free tea and coffee a bonus however room servicing was poor, bed was not made for duration of the 3 nights stay despite towels being refreshed and dirty cups taken away but cups not replaced, which when you have a nespreso machine was annoying Also floor not cleaned for duration of stay Would not stay there again as lacked atmosphere

Heart of the City

L7 was the perfect hotel for our family trip to Chicago. Close to everything…Michigan Ave, Navy Pier, Millennial Park. Staff was super accommodating and friendly. Our double queen room was very spacious for the 4 of us. On site restaurant and bar a great bonus.

Great location. Clean, basic room with decent views from the river side. The staff was great aside from the guy who checked me in, but I never saw him again. Mildly annoying there isn't a microwave in the room without requesting one. Overall good stay.

Great location, close to everything. Our room on the 12th fl was spacious. The only things I wish it had was a ledge or bench in the shower to put your stuff, better water pressure. I liked the daybed style window seat - a short person could have used it as a bed.

I was here for a conference, and decided to book here and what a great choice. The lobby and nice and cozy, the bar had great drinks, and the staff were lovely. I will def be staying here again the next time I’m in Chicago!

James was amazing for our check in experience. It was late and we were tired and just had a terrible experience with our check in at the silversmith that we immediately left and went to L7. Call it divine intervention that our google map search took us down the wrong road and while waiting on a light in front of L7 is why we decided to pick it. I booked it online and went in to a warmer and extremely kind and welcoming experience. We ended up staying up late watching the city from our amazing view in our upgraded suite. The coffee in the room was rich, creamy, and a touch of class I didn’t know I needed after a long drive. The water in the bathrooms is filtered and drinkable also! Will always recommend this hotel to friends and family traveling this way. A wonderful experience!

The elegance of the Hotel Monaco is gone, and so are the staff! There was only one person at the desk to check in arriving guests in the evening with lines of about 5 people both nights I was there, only one person in the entire hotel from 9PM to 6:30 am (when I called they were unable to bring me anything because they were all alone until 6:30 or so am), and ??only one housekeeper who arrived at my room in the late afternoon. The internet was incredibly slow in the afternoon and evening. Also, there were no USB ports to plug in the rooms and the outlets seemed to charge my phone very slowly ("alternative power" was invoked). I was checked into a room overlooking the parking garage ramps next door. Hardly the lovely river views pictured!
