Amazing Stay

I stayed at the Hyatt hotel over the weekend and overall they experience was very great. The rooms were very spacious that and the beds were very comfortable as well. The breakfast was one of the best I've had in a hotel. I would say I would highly recommend this hotel because of the convenience of it being down to all the major attractions downtown.

We had a wonderful 2-night stay at Hyatt Place Chicago Medical/University District. The room was exceptionally clean and very spacious, with a large and super comfortable L-shaped couch that was perfect for relaxing after a long day. The hallways are also wide and clean, which gave the whole hotel a fresh and open feel. The location is fantastic — close to plenty of restaurants, and with a bus stop and two metro stations nearby, it was really easy to get to downtown Chicago. One of the highlights of our stay was the breakfast. It was very, very good — with different items offered each day, which we really appreciated during our two-day stay. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel and would definitely stay here again!

I had no clue this was the historical Cook County Hospital building. Our middle child was born there and we spent 4 months there in the premature unit. Born 1.5 Lbs 3 months early. Good knowledge in the museum of how they refurbished the building.
