Nice for Quick Trip

We had an issue with the remote batteries but they sent up new ones very quickly. The breakfast was yummy. Everyone found something to eat. It was a quick trip to enjoy a Cubs game.

Parking is 1.5 blocks away so keep in mind if driving. The first night our window didn’t properly shut so I could hear everything from the clubs and bars closing between 12am - 3am. I slept horribly. The next day we had someone fix the window and I slept better the following nights. There’s still a lot of city noise but it was muffled.

Loved our stay here. Friendly staff, great room, and free breakfast. Anything we needed was within walking distance including Target, Walgreens, a mall, tons of restaurants and coffee shops, a casino and even walked to Navy Pier. Would definitely stay again.

Our original room had a broken lock so we asked to be switched to another room. Once we got switched we noticed that the fridge didn’t work, so we told the front desk and they said they’ll change the whole fridge out. I am surprised I wasn’t offered a refund or a discount towards our stay. The breakfast was okay but I couldn’t even tell what half of the things were because they were very rarely restocked and had one guy checking and restocking while 20+ people got breakfast, it was a mess. We ended up buying breakfast for the rest of our stay. I did not enjoy our stay.

Staff were welcoming and helpful. Kitchenette was brilliant but would be better if it had a Hob to use too. Room was clean and just what we needed. Breakfast had a good range of food and drinks and suited us well. Fitness suite and laundry area were great; we used them both. Hotel is located in a safe area and walking to the Navy Pier and other sites was easy. Check times were flexible, we arrived early and were accommodated without question. Noises from outside could be heard and woke us on a few occasions which was disappointing and hard to cope with jet lag too.

Don't count on a good breakfast.

The room is efficient and well organized. The location of the hotel is very good. The only complaint was with the breakfast staff. They were very unresponsive, and almost off-putting, the first two days of our five day visit. Asking for vegetarian eggs seemed like a joke to them. They said they put out what was delivered to them. No apologies, no excuses. They didn't clean up the serving area nor the seating area, and only refilled coffee and other items when told to do so. Nothing proactive like looking to see if something was needed. We have had better breakfasts at almost every other property, especially Hilton properties, than we had here.
