It is a charming 132 year old hotel. We stayed in a lake view room that felt on the older end of their renovation process. We had a nice view and the room was clean.

First time in Chicago

It was a beautiful older model hotel, alot of the original structure remains. TVs were outdated, my room could have been cleaner as there was hair left on the hair dryer & some on the sheets. One of the doorman Steve greeted us & was absolutely phenomenal & full of knowledge for our first time in Chicago. The food was ok, nothing to be excited about. The beds were pretty hard & rooms hot without a thermostat. Overall it was a decent stay.

I made reservations for 6 business colleagues and at every step it was a challenge. The hotel security gave me a hard time while waiting with my car out front for business colleagues. The hotel ran out of water bottles, it was a bare minimum hotel with limited services and mediocre service.
