Staff was great but the room was extremely loud. From the 2nd floor, I could clearly hear conversations that were happening on the sidewalk. It's close enough to the L that you could hear the announcer every time a train came through. The radiator heat didn't work so the bathroom wasn't heated. But the window unit A/C worked and was loud enough to block out the external sounds. Not terrible but also relatively cheap.

Very accomodating and helpful staff. Most convenient location. I miss the free basic breakfast that they used to offer until a few years back, but the all day coffe and tea helps.

Room was clean, staff were helpful, and great neighborhood! The only negative was that you could hear footsteps and noises from above and outside the room, but that’s to be expected in an old building. Nothing that some white noise couldn’t drown out! Would definitely stay again.

I love the location and it’s next to the Brown-Red-Purple Lines El Station. It’s is well kept “Historical” property. It’s is quite quaint and charming. Food sources abound within easy walking distance. Wrigley field is close. The price is a value in the winter months but goes up during the vacation seasons.
