No heat in two different rooms! Hotel had switched the entire building on AC. Made numerous requests to the hotel staff about the lack of heat. Had to switch to another hotel the following morning. A that time the staff at the front desk stated the engineer stated the building was switched to AC. Hotel Management still would not offer a full refund even though they provided a terrible service and experience. This hotel does not care about their customers and guests. It also took numerous calls from myself, Expedia, and credit card company for the hotel management to answer.When the answered they stated they were going to hold to the cancellation policy. My advice for future guests is to stay somewhere where else. Chicago has much better hotels who value their customers! CitzenM does not value their guests!

The location is wonderful, the bar/restaurant area was very good. Food and pricing well worth it. The outdoor terrace was my highlight. Room super cute and clean, Loved the remote shades. A few downsides, need 24 hour notice for a room cleaning. (I did not pay attention to the details, but was accommodated for a same day cleaning, a great plus). The mattress was super firm, not wood hard but a bit hard for my liking, the drawer pulls required me to use a hanger to open them. My fingers with longish nails couldn't do the trick. Lastly the room has an IPAD for many of the controls. All of which were easy to use. However, using the apps for locating TV programs wasn't possible. as there is no tv program listing just APPS to pop into to see what's currently playing, If the price was right, I would stay again because I loved the outdoor terrace space so much and the location is great,

RV/airport feel

It was very uncomfortable it felt like an airport. It was very expensive and the rooms were incredibly small. The toilet/bathroom door did not even close all the way and the layout of the shower was extremely uncomfortable traveling with a friend. The pictures are misleading it looks spacious.

A Great Place for Your Chicago Stay!

The rooms were awesome! Very colorful and different from.your ordinary hotel and that is what makes the hotel stand out from others. It is in the heart of the city near most main attractions within walking distance as things such as magnificent Mile, the river walk, and the bean. The rooms are nice and cozy and you can control the room to include all lights ans curtains with the ipad. You can also play the color pattern game on the ipad using rhe bathroom lights as they are LED. The breakfast is amazing ia is 20.00 per day unless you have other specials with your hotel booking. The place waa very clean with a bar that has food and open late hours There are 7 different sitting areas to include lounges and study/meeting rooms. Most of all the front desk and Bar staff were friendly amazing!!

This was my first time staying at this hotel chain. I really enjoyed that everything was touchscreen in the room, the room wasn’t very large however since it was just me it didn’t matter. The shower got really hot which I loved and I had a nice size tv. The room was very clean and the staff was extremely accommodating. I will stay here again!
