All staff members were wonderful. Five stars there. Hotel could use a few more amenities and also some updates. Did like that room was cleaned every day without having to request housekeeping. Microwaves in rooms and a better early morning breakfast dining option would be great. Also new curtains and a paint touch up in room.

It's clear this hotel was in the process of changing hands when we stayed there. There were issues with the in-room TV and phone and limited outlets (and none next to the beds). The air filter appeared visibly dirty in both the bathroom and bedroom. The rooms were much smaller than appeared online. We stayed on the 4th floor and the street noise was very loud. Heard from a friend on the 11th floor that it was also loud up there, so may be unavoidable. I hope the new owners clean things up a bit! Otherwise, the staff were very nice and friendly.

This was the worst hotel I’ve ever been too! The sheets were dirty like someone wiped the floor with them, no soap in the bathroom, toilet and shower loud and leaky, tv not working etc. I feel like I should have gotten a refund. I booked the hotel for the art work and it was gone.

The hotel was acquired by Marriott after I made the reservation through Hotels.com. Although they sent email saying they would honor the reservation when we arrived at 6:00 PM they had difficulty finding a reservation and did not have a room ready. They did not offer the same price as reserved blaming everything on the systems not being integrated as of yet. We were eventually offered an upgrade.

Pros: Overall is good. The room is clean and quiet. Noise isolation is so well. My baby didn't bother others when she was crying and we didn't hear any noise in the room during the stay. Staffs are nice and helpful. The location is surrounded by a lot of decent restaurants. 1 minute walk to the Michigan Ave which is like the 5th Ave in the New York City. Cons: No bedside light control. 1 bed reading light is not working. No air ventilation in the bathroom. The bathroom will be full of steam when you take a shower. The coffee machine is in the cabinet is a little awkward. You will need to pull out the machine to refill water after you pull all the way out of the drawer and the power cord is holding it back. TV can only watch TV program even it's a smart TV. Unable to watch youtube, netflix, etc.

I think this is a refurbished hotel. The front is clean. They have unique art in the foyer and an upstairs gallery. There are two elevators….seem pretty fast and we don’t wait. The floor we were on was a bit tired. Our room was quite nice. Very hot shower. Nice lighting. Bed is medium firmness which was a snitch soft for my wife (but how do you know!?!). Fitness centre has a lot of equipment for the space. Nice mix of treadmills, bikes, and strength. The surrounding area has nice shops and nice restaurants nearby. There is a fair amount of street noise at night (sirens from ambulances). For the price point quite reasonable.
