The staff was friendly. The place was clean and esthetically nice. Rooms had comfy beds and nice shower. But I booked the place because in the photos it had a Topgolf Swing Suite that looked like it was in a lively, lounge/bar area. Well, it is not. It was located in a very back, out of the way section of the hotel, there was no bar or food and there was no bathroom near by. So, that was a disappointment. The lobby bistro/lounge was closed by 7:45 p because they said it wasn't busy. They gym was basic but clean but again no bathroom at all near by. So, overall great place to sleep but dont book for the amenities.

poor service recovery

the planned power outage was NOT the fault of Marriott however the run around to get back my refund was in no way necessary. Much of the problem could have been avoided if in the email from the hotel they had said that if you booked through a third party you will need to deal with that third party. How can a hotel even consider allowing people to stay without electricity (and no air conditioning) with the temperature of 95 deg and high humidity.
