We were upset after the first night because we had a problem with our tv! Basically someone pulled all the cords out and house keeping did not relay the message before considering our room “flipped.” It was fixed the next day but we have stayed here several times and the only compensation they offered was points and free breakfast. It just didn’t seem fair. We stayed and were able to watch tv with no other issues and I love Aloft I just was disappointed in the accommodations.

The resort itself has amazing views and a lovely beach. The aesthetics are nice but could use some minor repairs here and there. We encountered a bug issue in our room on our last night. Additionally, be prepared to request washcloths every day, as housekeeping does not replace them when cleaning the room. The elevators that take you to your room are extremely small, and the buttons are often broken. The island is beautiful, with stunning views, rich culture, and history. However, I suggest spending your money at a resort where you will be valued and welcomed.

This was probably one of the best hotels I’ve ever stayed in, that drybar shampoo, condition and body wash was FIRE, the bed was super comfy, the water pressure was amazing and the room was spacious! Staff was super nice as well!

Staff was courteous and friendly. I usually love staying at an Aloft property, but this one is old and outdated. Our bathroom had old water stains on the ceiling. I would not recommend unless the renovate this property

Pass on this one

So upset with my stay, total waste of money and I’m trying my hardest to get a refund. The A/C in the building is broken. It’s so humid. They had water leaks in every room we stayed in. (We switched 3 times in 3 nights) the first room had a giant wet spot, and it was so humid I know these rooms are growing mold. Every room was patched and painted and just made you feel like it was dirty. The breakfast options were a joke & waste of an upgrade so save yourself. I wanted a hotel with a gym, this gym had no A/C, sweat every where, totally unhygienic and unsanitary. The weekend stay was super loud since they had a party in the lounge. Just crazy. I stayed here 7 years ago & it seems like it’s gone downhill since.
