I recently stayed at Regala airport hotel and had a mixed experience. The property itself is well-maintained, with clean and comfortable rooms, a good location, very close to the airport, and nice amenities. However, the service from the staff left much to be desired. While the staff were professional, they lacked warmth and attentiveness, which made the overall experience feel impersonal. Simple gestures like a warm greeting or proactive assistance were noticeably absent. Yet the shuttle bus driver, he was very nice.
Hospitality is more than just providing a place to stay—it’s about making guests feel welcomed and valued. Unfortunately, that aspect was missing here. While I appreciated the hotel’s facilities, I believe better customer service would significantly enhance the guest experience. If the staff were more engaging and attentive, this hotel could truly stand out. I hope management takes this feedback into consideration because the potential is there. Until then, I’m unsure if I’d return or recommend it to others.
