Checking in was easy, the employee was very courteous and I praise her for trying her best. Unfortunately the deadbolt on my door didn't work, couldn't lock it without the soul employee trying to best to fix the situation, the place was booked up so she didn't have another room to offer me. She had to take the plate off of the door frame for the deadbolt to work. The exit sign hanging from the ceiling by the wires was not very reassuring either, which was new from last week.

The hotel is being remodeled so don't expect the pool to be functioning as it was closed. The parking in front was limited due to vehicles and storage for the remodel. Our room had a hole in the ceiling waiting for a vent in the bathroom. We had a room that hadn't been remodeled yet. Disappointed in this pick.

The staff were very nice however there were stains on the sheets from an unknown substance. When I asked for new sheets, the sheets they brought had blood stains on them on the third set of sheets were clean. I would’ve probably went to another hotel however it was late in the day when we checked in. I do understand the properties under construction however instead of putting us in the finished rooms we were put in the area that the hallway was still under construction. All that being said, the staff was nice. The breakfast offerings were good. Parking was free inconvenient. Even with these issues, no discount was offered in all of my years of travel. I’ve never had dirty sheets on the bed. And then being given another set with blood stains on it leaves me to question how will they clean the laundry.

Beautiful room and good price for what you get. Had a little concern with parking because of the construction trailers taking up parking, but I did get lucky to score a spot right near the front door. I would definitely stay here again:

Just a weird “The Shining” vibe

Well as I should have checked the google reviews I would have never booked, I felt like I had stepped into a remake of the Shining, the awful color pallets for the rooms and a very large hole in my bathroom ceiling, the air conditioning never really kicked in, but the most positive thing was the bed, it wasn’t too bad, the front desk clerked kept insisting she needed to copy my card which now, I will keep locked or maybe get a replacement. Thanks but no thanks.
